Donald Trump’s Vaccine Statements Shock the World

HHS (under Trump and RFK Jr.) announced Monday that Tylenol use during pregnancy is associated with a “very increased risk of autism.”

On its face, that’s a huge story in itself. But Donald Trump went even further today — extending his remarks to the entire childhood vaccine schedule.

He almost sounded like RFK Jr., delivering every word with force. He went out on a limb for all the mothers who swear their child’s health declined after taking vaccines.

His words today change everything.

Essay by John Zmirak: Trump Takes on Autism Epidemic

I talk a lot about “learned helplessness” here. It’s the psychological state that animals tortured in labs eventually get to, where they don’t even bother flinching to get away from the pain. It’s also the end state our elites seek for citizens throughout the West — a condition George Orwell saw as the outcome of totalitarian politics, depicting it with searing power in 1984.

You’re just supposed to accept as normal that every city is a chaotic favela full of homeless lunatics, drug addicts, and criminals. Of course public schools are unusable shooting galleries where far-Left teachers try to groom eight-year-olds into developing gender dysphoria. Haven’t London streets always been blocked by hundreds of military-age Muslim males prostrating themselves toward Mecca? Surely that was depicted in Charles Dickens’s novels. Anyone suggesting otherwise is a far-right domestic extremist who deserves a visit from the police. …

Wyoming Lawmaker Walks 3 Miles On Crutches To Get Seat At Charlie Kirk Funeral

When traffic bottlenecked nearly three miles away from the stadium in Glendale, Arizona, where the world’s most powerful people and some of the world’s biggest Christian music stars were set to memorialize Charlie Kirk, Wyoming state Rep. Scott Smith decided to hoof it.

On crutches. Through huge throngs of people. As the day’s temperature crept from 85 degrees at 5:30 a.m. to a high of 103 degrees.

“I just felt inspired by the Lord that, ‘Hey, it’s a moment in history, and you should be a part of it – in honor of a man that deserved being honored,’” he said. “The number one takeaway (from that funeral) is the most important thing in life is your walk with Christ.”

Sinclair announced it would not air Jimmy Kimmel’s show despite ABC reinstating the program following a brief suspension.

ABC owner Disney announced in a Monday statement that it would bring Kimmel’s show back after “thoughtful conversations” with the host following widespread criticism and threats from left-wing figures and activists. Despite this, Sinclair is not budging on the issue, saying it would refuse to air his show on its ABC affiliates.

After statement from Paprocki, Cardinal Cupich defends award for Durbin

After criticism from a fellow Illinois bishop, Chicago Cardinal Blase Cupich on Monday doubled down on the archdiocese’s decision to honor U.S. Senator Dick Durbin, a longtime supporter of legal protection for abortion.

In a Sept. 22 statement, the cardinal said his decision to confer an award on Durbin is in line with Vatican guidance on the need for dialogue with politicians who oppose Church teaching on abortion. …

Cupich said he is trying to ‘engage in dialogue’ with Durbin.

The Scandalous Case of Cardinal Cupich and Senator Durbin – Commentary

Last week, the Archdiocese of Chicago announced that it will be honoring Senator Durbin with a lifetime achievement award. … The event will be hosted by His Eminence, Cardinal Blase Cupich, the Archbishop of Chicago (and member of the important Dicastery for Bishops in Rome), and held at the Jesuit prep school, Saint Ignatius College Prep.

For those of us with some familiarity with Cardinal Cupich, it does not come as a surprise that he would honor Senator Durbin in this way. His Eminence likes to involve himself in local and national politics, most often with a highly partisan flavor in favor of the left side of the aisle. …

What is a problem and a genuine scandal is His Eminence’s honoring a public official who clearly and unapologetically supports abortion rights, same-sex marriage, and violations of religious liberty, all of which are profound attacks on the dignity of the human person, people of faith, and the Catholic Church.

Catholic Bishop Blasts Abortion: It’s an “Overwhelming Disregard for Human Life”

A leading U.S. Catholic bishop condemned abortion as a prime example of society’s “overwhelming disregard for human life” on Monday.

The comments are a clarion call during Respect Life Month [October] for pro-life Catholics to combat the culture of death with unwavering advocacy for the unborn and every vulnerable soul. In his annual statement for October’s observance of Respect Life Month, Bishop Daniel Thomas of Toledo, Ohio, chairman of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops’ Committee on Pro-Life Activities, decried assaults on human dignity that pro-life advocates see as interconnected symptoms of moral decay.

“Every day we witness the overwhelming disregard for human life: through rising rates of abortion and assisted suicide,” Thomas wrote.

Biden’s FBI Worked With Radical Pro-Abortion Group To Target Pro-Lifers, Emails Show

As the Biden administration locked up elderly grandparents and devout Christians over peaceful pro-life protests, it partnered with a radical pro-abortion organization to prosecute pro-lifers, previously unreleased emails show.

President Joe Biden’s Justice Department and FBI partnered with the National Abortion Federation for multiple investigations into pro-life protests and developed an “amazing relationship,” according to emails shared with The Daily Wire by the Functional Government Initiative. The watchdog group told The Daily Wire that the emails show a “disturbing picture of DOJ’s eagerness to meet with pro-abortion lobbyists and activists and punish pro-life Americans” in the aftermath of the overturning of Roe v. Wade.

Sen. Cruz Introduces Bill Against Persecution of Nigerian Christians

U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) introduced the Nigeria Religious Freedom Accountability Act of 2025. The bill protects Christians and other religious minorities being persecuted in Nigeria by holding accountable Nigerian officials who facilitate Islamist jihadist violence and the imposition of blasphemy laws.

Sen. Cruz said, “Nigerian Christians are being targeted and executed for their faith by Islamist terrorist groups, and are being forced to submit to sharia law and blasphemy laws across Nigeria. It is long past time to impose real costs on the Nigerian officials who facilitate these activities, and my Nigeria Religious Freedom Accountability Act uses new and existing tools to do exactly that. I urge my colleagues to advance this critical legislation expeditiously.”

Disabled Christian Influencer Murdered in France as Global Persecution Intensifies

Just days after Christian conservative advocate Charlie Kirk was assassinated in the United States for proclaiming biblical truths that some found objectionable, Ashur Sarnaya, a 45-year-old Chaldean Catholic from Iraq, was murdered in Lyon, France. Disabled and confined to a wheelchair, Sarnaya was stabbed in the throat outside his apartment on September 10, 2025, while livestreaming on TikTok about his faith.

Originally from Ankawa in Iraqi Kurdistan, one of the largest Christian towns in the Middle East, Sarnaya fled persecution by the Islamic State and resettled in Lyon about a decade ago. He had legal status in France and was well known for his deep devotion to his Catholic faith. Using the TikTok account “Ashur Love,” he regularly posted prayers, hymns, and reflections in Arabic. His final livestream turned into a harrowing recording of his death.

Pope Leo XIV Receives Cardinal Sarah in Private Audience

Pope Leo XIV received Cardinal Robert Sarah in private audience Monday, the first time the two men have formally met since Leo was elected Pope in May.

The content of their discussion was not made public, as is “usually” the case with these kinds of audiences, Vatican spokesman Matteo Bruni told the Register.

In a recent interview, the Vatican’s former chief liturgist said he was looking with “great confidence” to Leo XIV’s pontificate, adding that he believed the Holy Father was “bringing back the indispensable centrality of Christ.”

The Guinean cardinal told the Italian bishops’ conference newspaper Avvenire on Sept. 12 that he welcomed Leo’s “evangelical awareness” and how he is communicating that without the Lord, “we can do nothing, neither build peace, nor build the Church, nor save souls.”
