US troops in Venezuela? Trump hints major moves possible as tensions soar
President Donald Trump said he’s not ruling out sending U.S. ground troops into Venezuela amid his administration’s crackdown on criminal networks tied to the country’s top leadership and drugs that are exported from it.
“No, I don’t rule out that, I don’t rule out anything,” Trump said Monday when asked if he has ruled out sending U.S. troops to Venezuela.
“We just have to take care of Venezuela. They dumped hundreds of thousands of people into our country from prisons. Nobody knows better than this young lady right here,” Trump continued, referring to Department of Homeland Security chief Kristi Noem. “She’s done an incredible job with Tom Homan and all of your people.” …

Illegal immigration enforcement operations to begin in Raleigh, North Carolina
Federal agents are being deployed to Raleigh, North Carolina, to begin illegal immigration enforcement operations starting on Tuesday
The Department of Homeland Security will be deploying U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents to the city, according to multiple reports. Raleigh Mayor Janet Cowell (D) released a statement on Monday at 8:20 p.m. about CBP’s illegal immigration enforcement operations in the city.
“As the capital city, it is important to us that everyone who lives, works, plays, and learns in Raleigh feels safe,” said Cowell. “We have been made aware that Customs and Border Protection are coming to Raleigh. While the Raleigh Police Department is not involved in immigration enforcement, we are committed to protecting our residents and to following the law. I can confirm that RPD has not participated in any immigration planning activities.” …
Operations targeting illegal immigrants in Raleigh come just days after DHS initiated Operation Charlotte’s Web, an illegal immigrant enforcement operation in Charlotte, North Carolina.

House to vote Tuesday [today] on releasing the Epstein files, with Trump’s support
After pressuring Republicans for months to oppose any mass release of government records on convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, President Donald Trump changed course just days before lawmakers will vote on a bill to release the Epstein files.
The U.S. House will vote Tuesday on Rep. Thomas Massie’s, R-Ky., resolution ordering the Department of Justice to “publicly disclose all unclassified records, documents, communications, and investigative materials in its possession that relate to Epstein or [his associate Ghislaine] Maxwell.”
The bill allows DOJ to redact or withhold material only if the material contains victims’ personally identifiable information; child sexual abuse materials; images of death, physical abuse, or injury; information which would jeopardize an active federal investigation or prosecution; or classified information.

Crockett: Speaker Johnson Is ‘Full of Sh-t’ — ‘Trying to Avoid Us Dealing with Epstein’
Monday on CNN’s “The Lead,” Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) said Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) was “full of shit” for his comments on the Epstein files vote.
On CNN, Johnson said, “We wanted to ensure that victims of these heinous crimes are completely protected from disclosure. Those who don’t want their names to be out there — and I’m not sure the discharge does that, and that’s part of the problem.”
Host Jake Tapper said, “What’s your response to that?”
Crockett said, “I would cuss, but I’m not going to — I’m just going to say he’s full of it, number one –”
Tapper said, “This is cable. You can cuss.”

Tennessee Teacher Who Mocked Charlie Kirk’s Assassination Got Her Job Back
After suspending her without pay in September, the Williamson County school district now says Franklin (Tenn.) High School science teacher Emily Orbison’s conduct, posting abhorrent comments celebrating conservative icon Charlie Kirk’s assassination, “did not justify employee discipline.”
Why the change of heart? Perhaps it has something to do with the lawsuit Orbison filed against the suburban Nashville school district, which, sources tell The Federalist, caved on the advice of legal counsel Lisa Carson.
Orbison was reinstated on Nov. 11, according to Chalkbeat Tennessee, a leftist nonprofit news outlet that reports on education issues. The district’s reinstatement letter informed Orbison she would receive back pay dating to Sept. 15.
Tennessee conservatives are calling the reinstatement a “disgusting” sellout.

Bill Gates Memo Confirms the Climate Change Agenda Is All About Power
Bill Gates sent shockwaves through the left-wing environmental movement recently when he released a memo that sounded quite different from the hysterical warnings he had been issuing for years. In a statement that was outright heresy to the climate change fanatics, Gates asserted that global warming “will not lead to humanity’s demise” and that human welfare should be the most important consideration of environmental policy.
Cue the outrage. “Respectfully, Bill Gates should shut up,” declared an indignant Nitish Pahwa for Slate. The World Health Organization’s Special Envoy for Climate Change and Health called Gates’s memo “very dangerous.” CNN professed that Gates’s claim that we are not all imminently doomed was “stunning.”
Many commentators on the political right, meanwhile, claimed the Gates memo as a victory and admission that left-wing climate alarmism has been bunk all along.

Archaeologists Identify the Site Where Jesus Exorcised the Legion of Demons and the Herd of Pigs
Dr Scott Stripling, director of excavations for the Association for Biblical Research, reported on the combination of textual clues, geography and ruins in the city of Kursi, Israel, where the exorcism of the Legion of demons and the subsequent infestation of pigs in Gadara, described in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke, most likely took place. The town of Kursi is located on the eastern shore of the Sea of Galilee. …
The research identified three geographical clues present in the three Gospels: a steep cliff near the water, a nearby cemetery, and Jesus’ arrival by boat from the western shore. These three elements converge at Kursi, which has a cliff less than 50 meters from the shore, a hill with ancient Jewish tombs, and the discovery of a Roman-era port partially submerged in the lake.
The key to the investigation was locating the ancient port using aerial photographs and reports from the 1985 excavation. A large Roman fish tank, used to keep the catch alive, marked the location of the fishing port, active in the 1st century, where Jesus arrived. …

Two more German dioceses have rejected a document on “the diversity of sexualities” in schools published by the German bishops’ conference in October.
The Archdiocese of Cologne and the Diocese of Regensburg confirmed Nov. 14 that they agreed with Bishop Stefan Oster of Passau’s detailed critique of the bishops’ conference text, “Created, Redeemed, and Loved – Visibility and recognition of the diversity of sexual identities in schools.”
Oster argued in a Nov. 10 analysis that the document, issued by the bishops’ conference’s commission for education and schools, marked a departure from the traditional Catholic understanding of the human person.
