The United States instructed its diplomatic corps to pressure Western governments to abandon mass migration via direct reporting and advocacy on the systemic failures of policies.
The State Department issued a flurry of cables to U.S. embassies throughout Europe and the broader Western world on Friday, instructing them to spearhead antimigration advocacy in their host countries while urging governments to “positively respond to their citizens’ growing discontent related to unmitigated migration to address risks of political instability.”

Minnesota is drowning in fraud. Billions in taxpayer dollars have been stolen during the administration of Governor Tim Walz alone. Democratic state officials, overseeing one of the most generous welfare regimes in the country, are asleep at the switch. And the media, duty-bound by progressive pieties, refuse to connect the dots.
In many cases, the fraud has allegedly been perpetrated by members of Minnesota’s sizeable Somali community. Federal counterterrorism sources confirm that millions of dollars in stolen funds have been sent back to Somalia, where they ultimately landed in the hands of the terror group Al-Shabaab. During an appearance on NBC’s “Meet the Press” on Sunday, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said Democratic lawmakers’ video message to military members about illegal orders “helps our enemies.” …
[Host Kristen Welker] asked, “President Trump accused these lawmakers of, quote, seditious behavior punishable by death. Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt said that every order President Trump gives is lawful. Are you confident that every order that President Trump gives is lawful?”
Bessent said, “Kristen, what I am confident of is this is a display of gross negligence here that there are 2.1 million service members and you’re probably going to ask, you’re probably going to say these off the rails representatives have gotten death threats. What about the 2.1 million service members? They have put their lives at risk. There is one commander in chief, and when you step outside of a chain of command and try to create via noise and chaos, that only helps our enemies.”

Lawsuit Claims Leftist Benson Is Breaking Michigan Election Law
Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson is violating the state’s constitution and breaking the law through a directive allowing individuals who have never resided in Michigan to vote in the Great Lakes State’s elections, a lawsuit filed Friday by the Michigan GOP and the Republican National Committee alleges.
The complaint, exclusively obtained by The Federalist, takes issue with the secretary of state’s guidance on overseas voters who generally fall under the Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act. The lawsuit asks the court to block Benson’s edict and issue a declaratory judgment that the secretary’s guidance is contrary to the law.
It’s a do-over, so to speak, of a similar lawsuit filed less than a month before last year’s presidential election. In that case, Judge Sima Patel of the state’s Court of Claims tossed the complaint. Patel, appointed to the bench by leftist Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, cited the election integrity-killing laches doctrine in scolding Republicans for bringing the complaint too close to the election. …

After the Vatican began the process of returning 62 artifacts from its ethnographic collection to indigenous communities in Canada last week, a scholar with indigenous heritage wrote an essay criticizing the move.
“The majority of indigenous people in Canada today identify as Christians, and nearly a third of them as Catholic,” Ashley Frawley [a sociologist at the University of Kent] wrote in her Nov. 18 article for Compact. “In the United States, proportions are similar. But when the Vatican returned 62 artifacts from its ethnographic collection on November 15, it framed the move as ‘part of the Catholic Church’s reckoning with its role in helping suppress Indigenous culture in the Americas.’ But is Catholicism not my culture?” …
“The Vatican’s return of artifacts to their ‘rightful owners’ does more than acknowledge past wrongdoing; it implies a clean separation between ‘their’ religion and ‘our’ identity,” Frawley wrote. “In doing so, it affirms the broader cultural fantasy that indigenous people are never active players in history or universal humanity, only ever the victims of its imposition.”

President Donald Trump’s administration is picking up steam in addressing violence against Christians in Nigeria this week, after Trump lashed out at the nation’s government for having “done nothing” to stop the killings.
“I’m really angry about it,” the president told Fox News Radio on Friday. “What’s happening in Nigeria is a disgrace.”
War Secretary Pete Hegseth met with Nigerian National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu last week amid threats from Trump to cut off aid to Nigeria if it “continues to allow the killing of Christians.” Nigerian officials have pushed back on the accusation.
