Walz And Frey Should Be Arrested For Inciting 2020 2.0
The woman fatally shot while allegedly attempting to ram her vehicle into Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in Minneapolis on Wednesday found out what “FAFO” means.
Marxist Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey should also face consequences in the form of swift prosecution and arrest for inciting violence against the federal law enforcement agents he just told to “get the f– out” of the city he appears prepared to turn into 2020 2.0. Same with disgraced Democrat Gov. Tim Walz.
The Department of Homeland Security confirmed a “violent rioter” was shot after she “weaponized her vehicle, attempting to run over our law enforcement officers in an attempt to kill them” while the agency was conducting a targeted enforcement effort. The suspect was killed in the incident.
DHS is calling the woman’s actions “an act of domestic terrorism.”

Former FBI, CBP agents say Minneapolis ICE shooting likely to be ruled justified
Former federal agents say that the Minneapolis ICE shooting that left one woman dead will likely be ruled a justified use of force by investigators.
The officer-involved shooting in Minneapolis this morning, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said, occurred during an Immigration and Customs Enforcement operation in the city.
When officers ordered a woman to exit her vehicle which was blocking the road, video footage shows the woman accelerated, hitting one officer. That officer fired several times into the vehicle, striking the woman, who later died of her injuries.

Minn. archbishop pleads for peace after ICE shooting
Archbishop Bernard Hebda of St. Paul-Minneapolis called for prayer and an end to division after a Minnesota woman was killed by an ICE agent on Wednesday.
“We continue to be at a time in this country when we need to lower the temperature of rhetoric, stop fear-filled speculation and start seeing all people as created in the image and likeness of God,” Hebda said in a Jan. 7 statement.
“That is as true for our immigrant sisters and brothers as it is for our elected officials and those who are responsible for enforcing our laws.”
Hebda’s statement came hours after an Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer shot and killed in a residential area of Minneapolis Renee Nicole Good, a 37-year-old woman who lived in the Twin Cities.

Rubio outlines three-step plan about what comes next for Venezuelan government
Secretary of State Marco Rubio revealed further insight into the United States’s plans for the decapitated government of Venezuela, which is intended to ultimately culminate in transition.
Speaking to reporters on Wednesday, Rubio said the “three-fold process” will amount to “stabilization” under the current regime headed by acting President Delcy Rodríguez, followed by “recovery,” and finally, a change in leadership.
“Step one is the stabilization of the country; we don’t want it descending into chaos,” Rubio said.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio arrives for a closed-door briefing with top lawmakers in a secure room at the Capitol after President Donald Trump ordered U.S. forces to capture Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro during a weekend raid in Caracas, Venezuela, and bring him to New York to face federal drug trafficking charges, in Washington, Monday, Jan. 5, 2026.
Citing the quarantine of Venezuelan imports and exports, Rubio said the seizure of “between 30 and 50 million barrels of oil” and sale thereof at “market rates” will be “dispursed in a way that benefits the Venezuelan people — not corruption, not the regime.”

Arizona bill would hit priests with felony if they fail to break confessional seal to report abuse
A proposed law in Arizona could see priests facing felony charges if they fail to break the seal of confession after learning of child abuse during the sacrament.
The measure, HB 2039, was introduced in December 2025 by state Rep. Anastasia Travers. It is awaiting action in the state House after Travers prefiled it on Dec. 4.
The bill would amend the state code to require priests to report abuse learned during confession if they have “reasonable suspicion to believe that the abuse is ongoing, will continue, or may be a threat to other minors.”
Failure to report a “reportable offense” could lead to class 6 felony charges under the bill. Those charges in Arizona can lead to up to $150,000 in fines and up to two years of imprisonment.

Catholics in Peru diocese where Pope Leo used to be bishop ask him to reconsider Marian titles doctrinal note
More than 100 Catholics in Chiclayo, Peru — where Pope Leo served as bishop from 2014 until 2023 — have sent a letter to the Pontiff requesting that he reconsider a recent doctrinal note on Marian titles that they described as scandalous and a cause of suffering for the Blessed Mother, according to a Jan. 2 report from Rome-based Catholic journalist Diane Montagna.
The brief letter was penned by a laywoman who preferred to remain anonymous and is involved in a movement to promote Saint Louis de Montfort’s 33-day Marian consecration, according to Montagna.
The letter begins with the salutation “Your Holiness Pope Leo XIV,” followed by an affectionate greeting referencing the decades of pastoral work Pope Leo previously carried out in Peru.
“Dear Pope Robert, I write to you from Chiclayo, Peru — the land that loves you so dearly and longs to see you again — to share that the People of God are deeply saddened by the doctrinal note Mater Populi Fidelis,” the letter reads …

Ahead of consistory, priest urges new canonical structure to resolve Latin Mass standoff
As cardinals gather this week in an extraordinary consistory convened by Pope Leo XIV on Jan. 7–8, a French traditionalist priest has sent a memorandum to members of the Sacred College of Cardinals proposing the creation of an ecclesiastical jurisdiction specifically structured to oversee the celebration of the Traditional Latin Mass in an effort to resolve the liturgical crisis that has marked the Church in recent years.
The letter, dated Dec. 24, 2025, and made public by U.S. journalist Diane Montagna, was written by Father Louis-Marie de Blignières, founder of the Fraternity of St. Vincent Ferrier in 1979 and a senior figure of the post-1988 Ecclesia Dei movement who took part in dialogue with St. John Paul II following Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre’s illicit episcopal consecrations.
