ICE Agent Renee Good Rammed With Her Car Suffered Internal Bleeding
The Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent whom Renee Good apparently tried to run over with her car in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on Jan. 7, suffered internal bleeding, a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) official confirmed to The Federalist.
Good was ultimately fatally shot by agent Jonathan Ross. Video evidence indicates that Ross acted in self-defense, as Good accelerated while Ross was standing in front of her vehicle, contrary to the orders of agents who were attempting to halt her obstruction of immigration enforcement operations.
Ross’s injuries include internal bleeding in the torso, but their extent is unclear. While corporate media will likely claim dismiss the physical harm Good caused with her vehicle (while continuing to demonize Ross and ICE generally), Ross’s injuries add to the growing body of evidence that seems to prove his use of force was justified.

SCOTUS allows congressional candidates to challenge state mail-in ballot laws
The Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) ruled 7-2 Jan. 14 that congressional candidates may challenge state election laws governing when mail-in ballots are counted, potentially opening the door to more lawsuits over election laws nationwide.
Rep. Michael Bost, R-Ill., sued the Illinois State Board of Elections over a state law that allows mail-in ballots to be counted if they are postmarked by Election Day and received within two weeks of Election Day. He argued that if a state allows ballots that are received after Election Day to be counted, the law violates federal code, which sets a specific day — the Tuesday after the first Monday in November — for ballots to be submitted.

Secret Service suspends agent on vice president’s detail over leaked video
Secret Service agent who was on Vice President JD Vance’s security detail was suspended this week after he was recorded in an undercover video talking about sensitive parts of his job.
The video was recorded by an undercover reporter for conservative activist James O’Keefe and was verified by the Secret Service as authentic, according to NewsNation.
The video shows the agent talking to a woman he believed he was meeting for a date. During the “date,” the agent talked about serving in Vance’s security detail, including sharing information about the movement of Vance to and from his home at the Naval Observatory. He also showed her his badge after she asked.

Trump unsure Iranians would ‘accept’ Pahlavi as threat of US action against regime looms
President Donald Trump was hesitant to fully support exiled Iranian crown prince Reza Pahlavi as the next leader of the country if the current regime falls, saying, “We really aren’t up to that point yet.”
Trump voiced his insights on the protests against the Islamic regime in Iran and the deadly crackdown on the demonstrators in an interview with Reuters on Wednesday. The protests against the regime led by Ayatollah Ali Khamenei began in late December, with the crackdown from the Iranian government on the anti-regime protesters quickly turning deadly. Over 2,500 people have died in the suppression of the demonstrations, according to the Human Rights Activists News Agency.
The president vowed “strong action” should Iran execute or hang protesters, but said earlier Wednesday, “There’s no plan for executions … an execution or executions, so I’ve been told that on good authority. We’ll find out about that. I’m sure if that happens, we’ll be very upset, and you’ll be upset.”
Many protesters have turned to Pahlavi, the son of the last shah of Iran, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, as an opposition leader who could fill the void if the protests succeed in toppling the regime. In Trump’s interview with the outlet, the president expressed hesitancy about fully backing the exiled crown prince.

Trump Admin Was Forced to Restore a Little Planned Parenthood Funding to Win Defunding Lawsuit
As some pro-lifers expressed outrage over the Trump administration restoring family planning funding to Planned Parenthood, other pro-life voices say there’s more to the move than meets the eye.
Politico reported that the American Civil Liberties Union on Monday dropped its lawsuit against the administration after the Department of Health and Human Services quietly released tens of millions in Title X family planning funds to Planned Parenthood and other clinics.
The move sparked widespread outrage from pro-life conservatives.
The ACLU, joined by The National Family Planning and Reproductive Health Association, had sued the administration over what they called “unlawful” withholding of more than $65 million in Title X grants to clinics.
But the agency may have had no choice but to restore funding, according to Tom McClusky, a veteran pro-life operative and director of government affairs at CatholicVote.
The agency withheld the funds before amending 42 U.S. Code Part 300, a rule which governs family planning grants.
“They were virtually certain to lose the lawsuit, forcing them to repay the full amount plus interest and cover attorneys’ fees,” McClusky told The Daily Signal.
“Even worse, continuing the litigation would have entangled any future funding cuts—which are highly likely under the new regulations—in prolonged court battles before an unsympathetic judge.”
A former senior Trump administration official told The Daily Signal the administration will now be in a better position to defund Planned Parenthood.

114 Christian Colleges Caught Supporting Abortion, Planned Parenthood
A new report from Students for Life of America’s Demetree Institute for Pro-Life Advancement has found that 114 Christian colleges and universities in the United States — more than one in seven — are supporting abortion in some way.
The report found these Christian universities either backing abortion or maintaining some type of relationship with Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion company.
The investigation, conducted for the fourth consecutive year during the 2024-2025 academic year, examined 725 institutions affiliated with Christ-centered denominations that publicly claim a historical Christian faith in their founding. Schools from denominations embracing a pro-abortion stance, such as the Disciples of Christ, United Church of Christ, Quaker, and Moravian, were excluded.
Students for Life of America (SFLA) President Kristan Hawkins emphasized the incompatibility of such ties with Christian principles.
“You can’t be Christian and be pro-abortion,” Hawkins told Fox News Digital. “It’s not something you can … be flexible on.”
