Trump Lays Out 2 Paths for America in Midterms: Prosperity with Republicans or Regression with Democrats

President Donald laid out two paths he sees that lie ahead for America during his keynote address at the Republican National Convention (RNC) on Wednesday: prosperity if Republicans hold majorities in Congress or regression if Democrats take power.

Lee Greenwood sang “God Bless the USA” as Trump took the stage on the first night of the first-of-its-kind midterm Republican National Convention at the American Airlines Center, home of the Dallas Mavericks and Dallas Stars. Conventions have historically exclusively been held in years of presidential elections, when the major parties formally nominate their candidates for the presidency.

He laid out his core message at the top of the speech.

“In 55 days, Americans will be going to the polls in one of the most important elections inour country’s history. Your vote will decide whether our country stumbles at the starting gate of the next 250 years or surges forward and never ever looks back,” he said.

Trump pushes new bill making it illegal for future presidents ‘to open the border again’

President Trump is floating a new bill that would make it illegal for future presidents “to open the border again,” he announced during a speech at the Republican midterm convention.

The president proposed the legislation under the title “No Invasion of Our Country Act” on Wednesday night at the American Airlines Center in Dallas — one of several new policies he’s set to unveil ahead of the 2026 midterms.

“We will make it legally impossible for any future president to destroy our country by having the right to open the border again,” Trump said.

Surprise announcement: $5000 dividend to every citizen if GOP wins House and Senate

It will be ‘very much like a successful company will do a cash distribution to a shareholders, or like last year when I gave our great members of the military $1776. … The only caveat I have is that the dividend that we’re making must be spent in the United States of America’

Today, one year ago, Charlie Kirk, a young American conservative activist and founder of Turning Point USA, who traveled across U.S. universities to meet young people and openly and peacefully engage even with those who held ideas opposed to his own, was murdered at just 31 years old right during one of these encounters. …

Poland observes National Day of the Children of War on September 10

Each year Poland honors the youngest victims of German and Soviet occupation during World War II. This year President Karol Nawrocki honors the young victims of “Little Auschwitz,” a labour camp run by Germans in Łodź for Polish children aged 2–16. Of over 2,000 young Poles who suffered there, many perished from starvation, cruelty, or exhaustion. Today, the remains of ten of those children, found thanks to the Institute of National Remembrance (IPN), will be buried in consecrated ground.
