Bring Down “The System,” Soros-funded Calif. School Board Chief Tells Graduates

Government-school graduates must resist the Trump administration’s policies and the supposed institutional racism of the United States by overthrowing “the system,” argued Santa Ana Unified School District President Hector Bustos in his 2025 graduation address. Critics, including fellow members of the SAUSD board, expressed shock.

The 24-year-old radical, who works for an extremist group funded by billionaire leftist George Soros and the globalist Rockefeller dynasty, issued a thinly veiled call to revolution. In clear terms, he urged the young graduates to bring down the American constitutional form of government in favor of hyper-racialized socialism.

Victor Davis Hanson: Gavin Newsom’s ‘Reckless’ Surrender of LA to Foreign National Riots (Video)

VDH: This weekend we saw rioting in Los Angeles against ICE for its efforts to apprehend illegal aliens, but Gavin Newsom gave a series of editorializations that I think have ruined his chances ever to be a serious national candidate. …

Nobody in their right mind would ever vote for you for anything after you went into a volatile dangerous situation and tried to pour gasoline on it by essentially saying you, the Governor, will not do anything to restore order or quiet, and you sided with people who are committing violence against their fellow residents of Los Angeles.

In move called a ‘dark day’ for residents, NY Senate passes assisted suicide law

The New York Senate has voted to legalize medically assisted suicide, a move that one Catholic bioethicist told OSV News marked “a dark day” for the state’s residents, and the act will now head to Democratic Gov. Kathy Hochul.

State senators passed the Medical Aid in Dying Act 35-27 in a June 9 evening session that, after two hours of debate, wrapped with a 35-27 vote in favor of the bill. In April, the measure had cleared the state Assembly by 81-67, just six votes over the required threshold of 75.

Hochul’s office told the New York media outlet Advance/Staten Island Live that the governor “will review the legislation.”

Islamic Appropriation at Mount Sinai: Egypt’s Assault on the World’s Oldest Christian Monastery

The Muslim world often gets away with things that would send shockwaves through the international community if anyone else did them.

Sinai. Built by Emperor Justinian I around 550 AD on Mount Sinai, it has stood for nearly 1,500 years—making it centuries older than Islam. ...

Will Gaudí the genius become Gaudí the saint?

On 14 April, the late Pope Francis declared the Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí a Venerable Servant of God, recognising his heroic virtues. In doing so, he honoured a mightily talented creative spirit and much revered eccentric.

Gaudí, who died a century ago, blended natural imagery and piety with extreme gusto, most unforgettably in the looming, asparagus-like towers of Sagrada Família in Barcelona. He absorbed stylistic precedents through descriptions of East Asian art by Walter Pater, John Ruskin and William Morris, as well as Islamic art – especially the Alhambra, the palace-fortress in Granada – as studied by the architect Owen Jones.
