Same Verdict – Not Same Treatment

"Big Guy" gets off again

In the unsurprising guilty verdict leveled against Hunter Biden (guilty on all three federal counts of buying a gun while using crack-cocaine and lying about it on the application), the Communist-Democrats get to continue their crowing that "no one is above the law."

Excluding the Communist-Democrats themselves, no one may be above the law, but how the law gets applied is an entirely different matter. There, who you are does matter.

There is absolute zero equivalence between the Trump guilty verdict and the Hunter guilty verdict – although the Commies will propagandize the moment and their media allies will push it.

Trump's conviction was a political hit job from first to last. Even far-Left commentators were at pains to explain what exactly the crime was, or the charges were. No one seemed to actually know – no one, that is, except the un-American, as well as partisan, judge and politically-motivated prosecutor. And, when you throw in a 90 percent opposite-party jury pool – no defendant stands a chance.

That was not the case with Hunter. He clearly broke a clear law very clearly. No one was debating first whether this was a "novel" application of the law, whether there was an actual law, and whether it could be applied. It was, and is, a felony; no felony had to be fabricated by reaching down and elevating a misdemeanor (whose statute of limitations had expired.)

Biden was stoned (perpetually it seems) on crack-cocaine; bought a gun; lied on the application, and then swore that he had told the truth and was not using drugs.

An image of stoned Hunter Biden holding his gun is what appears in a legal dictionary next to the definition of 'open and shut' case. Not so with Trump – universes apart – despite the same verdict being reached.

The Communist-Democrats need a propaganda tool to point to and say, "Look, we are even-handed. The President's own Department of Justice got a conviction against the President's son." Sounds impartial, impressive, even-handed, justice served and all that.

But – it ain't. Not even close.

Trump got the heaviest charges possible leveled against him (though no one knows or understands even now what the crime actually was.) He got the book thrown at him.

Hunter, on the other hand, got the pillow thrown at him – when you consider with what he could, and should, have been charged.

An unhappy fallout for Team Biden is that during the run up to the trial, the veracity of the laptop was confirmed – It's His – despite the lies and cover up by the Communists for the past three years (yes, we're looking at you, you 51 Intelligence Operation Liars.) That laptop reveals all sorts of crimes and rotten doings – beyond stoned sex with underage girls and kiddy porn.

Public witness after public witness has openly declared that (unelected?) President Biden was involved with son Hunter in his overseas business dealings and trafficking in the family name for personal profit while Biden was still Veep.

The difference between the Trump case and the Hunter case is what Trump was charged with, and Hunter was NOT.

Biden's DOJ had to do something given the massive amounts of information and cat calls in social media demanding justice – of some sort, at least. So, the public got thrown the smallest, most insignificant scrap Team Biden could toss them. ("My son is a crack addict who bought a gun illegally by lying on the application".)

That only sounds bad if you don't know the rest of the story. ("My son used my name and position as Veep with my knowledge and blessing to bilk millions and millions out of foreign countries and kick back some of it to me".) Viewed through that lens, a crack pipe and a couple of lies don't seem that big of a deal.

Plus – the crime is participated in by the sitting vice president (at the time), making it a whopper.

Biden is being protected by this verdict against his son – albeit, likely somewhat embarrassed on a personal level as a dad – from the real crimes, his crimes, many of which are revealed on that laptop. The info in the emails alone would end up with Biden behind bars – except he's too old and doddering, apparently, to stand trial, according to his own Department of Justice.

When people are clamoring for justice – getting the drug-addicted son of the US President on somewhat pedestrian charges isn't exactly what "Justice" looks like – especially when President Trump is wondering if he'll be behind bars when his party nominates him to be the next President of the United States.

Same verdict – and that's where the similarity ends.

Yep. That's just about where the bear sits.

I'm particularily impressed in the Commie-Dem irony that presents us with the situation where Brandon is too doddering to stand trial for his crimes againt our nation, BUT at the same time, is 'completely capable' to hold the most powerful office in the world. Riiiiight.

DoubleThink at its finest. Move along; nothing to see here.
