Another disaffected Democrat has come home to the Republican Party.
Former Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) has announced she's joining the GOP.
Gabbard: "It is because of my love for our country, and specifically because of the leadership that President Trump has brought to transform the Republican Party and bring it back to the party of the people, and the party of peace, that I'm proud to stand with you here today, President Trump, and announce that I'm joining the Republican Party."
Repulsed by Democrats' radical Leftism, Gabbard became an Independent in 2022.
The veteran began stumping for Trump in 2024, hailing his pro-America, anti-war stance.
She officially endorsed the former president in August.
Gabbard is famous for torpedoing Kamala Harris' 2020 bid for the presidency.
Gabbard: "She put over 1,500 people in jail for marijuana violations and then laughed about it when she was asked if she ever smoked marijuana. She blocked evidence that would have freed an innocent man from death row until the courts forced her to do so. She kept people in prison beyond their sentences to use them as cheap labor for the state of California, and she fought to keep [the] cash bail system in place that impacts poor people in the worst kind of way."
Announcing her conversion to the GOP, Gabbard again excoriated Harris' record.
Kamala, she warned, is "pro-censorship," "pro-open borders," and "pro-war."
