President Donald Trump delivered his closing message for the midterm elections at the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool on Monday, hours before polls open across the country.
Throughout his remarks, Trump outlined what he sees as the stakes in the election and highlighted his administration’s accomplishments in its first 20 months.
“The Democrat Party has nominated the most extreme and dangerous slate of candidatesin American history. These are the most dangerous candidates ever put up,” he said.
“There’s never been anything like what we’re seeing: jihadists and Muslim Brotherhood members and people that nobody can even believe what we’re looking at, and all committed to the same radical agenda,” he added.
The president said that the agenda includes “open borders, raising your taxes by trillions of dollars, taking away your guns, transgender mutilalization of your children, abolishing oil and natural gas, sending energy costs skyrocketing, and opening the floodgates to millions of migrants from all over the world, hoping to get them to be able to vote.”

Vice President JD Vance warned voters during his final midterm rally in Ohio on Monday that Somali communities are coordinating to flood the polls and drown out the votes of Americans.
Vance urged people to vote for Vivek Ramaswamy for governor.
Standing alongside Ramaswamy at the Eugene F. Kranz Toledo Express Airport rally, Vance said he had seen a story in the last couple of days about the effort and framed the choice as one about whether American elections will belong to American citizens.
“Now, I saw a story, just in the last couple of days, that there are illegal communities of illegal immigrant Somalis who are coordinating to flood the polls and drown out your vote,” Vance told the crowd.
“Well, I happen to believe that we want American elections to belong to American citizens. Send a message by voting for Vivek for governor!”

The law will also be put to a vote in the 2028 elections, pending confirmation from the state.
Pro-life advocates in Massachusetts say they have collected enough signatures to both suspend a far-reaching abortion law there and put the question before voters in the next presidential election cycle.
The state earlier this year became the latest in the U.S. to officially remove all limits on abortion. Lawmakers passed a law that permits abortion at any point in pregnancy for any reason; Democratic Gov. Maura Healey signed the bill on Aug. 10.
Opponents of abortion subsequently launched an effort to suspend and potentially repeal the law, seeking enough signatures to enact a “veto referendum” that would put the law up for a statewide vote in 2028.
The advocates needed to collect about 37,000 signatures to place the measure on the ballot; collecting just under 50,000 signatures, meanwhile, would suspend the law prior to that election.
Myrna Maloney Flynn, the president of Massachusetts Citizens for Life, told EWTN News on Oct. 30 that the initiative had collected more than 100,000 signatures toward the effort.
