President Rules Out Striking Iran With Nukes
President Donald Trump on Thursday ruled out striking Iran with a nuclear weapon, after previous threats invoked rhetoric about destroying Iranian civilization.
“No, I wouldn’t use it,” Trump told reporters at the White House.
“Why would I use a nuclear weapon when we’ve, in a very conventional way, decimated them without it?” he asked. “A nuclear weapon should never be allowed to be used by anybody.”

Trump says Israel and Lebanon ceasefire will continue for another three weeks
Trump said the ceasefire was extended following a meeting with Lebanese and Israeli officials, which he oversaw with Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio and the U.S. ambassadors to Israel and Lebanon.
President Donald Trump said Thursday that the ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon will continue for another three weeks after a round of peace talks at the White House.
The initial 10-day ceasefire took place last week after the regional conflict in the Middle East continued through proxy groups in Israel and Lebanon. The United States, Israel and Iran are also in a ceasefire.
Trump said the ceasefire was extended following a meeting with Lebanese and Israeli officials, which he oversaw with Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio and the U.S. ambassadors to Israel and Lebanon.
“The meeting went very well! The United States is going to work with Lebanon in order to help it protect itself from Hezbollah,” Trump said on Truth Social. “The Ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon will be extended by three weeks.

Big-name donors to the Southern Poverty Law Center, including George Clooney and George Soros, have stayed silent amid allegations that the nonprofit funneled more than $3 million to the hate groups it claims to fight.
The SPLC was charged with wire fraud, bank fraud and money laundering on Wednesday for allegedly bankrolling at least eight leaders and members of extremist groups — all behind the backs of its deep-pocketed benefactors.
The foundations of Clooney and Soros, along with MGM Resorts and other high-profile backers, haven’t spoken up about the Justice Department indictment.

The Government has announced plans to financially incentivize abortion clinics to provide ‘lunch-hour’ or ‘same-day’ abortions.
The changes were announced last week as part of the Renewed Women’s Health Strategy for England.
Under the current NHS Payment Scheme, abortion clinics are typically paid separately for each part of the abortion pathway – the consultation, scan, and procedure. This encourages abortion providers not to rush the process in one day and also gives women more time to consider their decision before the actual abortion procedure happens.

Before taking questions, the Pope stressed that the primary purpose of a papal trip is pastoral rather than political.
“When I make a trip — speaking for myself, but today as Pope, Bishop of Rome — especially an apostolic, pastoral trip, it is to find, accompany, and come to know the people of God,” he said.
He added that such journeys should be understood above all as “an expression of wanting to announce the Gospel, proclaim the message of Jesus Christ,” and as a way “to draw close to the people in their happiness, in the depth of their faith, but also in their suffering.”
