Trump Appeals New Court Block on Mail Voting Order as Midterms Near

The Trump administration on Friday appealed a federal judge’s latest ruling that blocked implementation of President Donald Trump’s order to impose new restrictions on mail-in voting.

The move escalated a court fight over election rules just days before states are scheduled to begin sending ballots for the November midterm elections.

The notice of appeal came after U.S. District Judge Indira Talwani in Boston issued a 14-day temporary restraining order Thursday blocking the U.S. Postal Service from enforcing key portions of a new rule stemming from Trump’s March executive order.

The case is now headed to the 1st U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals and could ultimately return to the Supreme Court, which only days ago gave the administration an interim victory by lifting an earlier lower-court block while leaving the underlying legal questions unresolved.

Retired law enforcement officers demand Mamdani, Hochul stay away from 9/11 ceremony

The letter referenced Mamdani’s “rhetoric and affiliations that we believe have been hostile to law enforcement” and claimed that his political statements are “sympathetic” toward anti-American movements.

Retired law enforcement officers are demanding that New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani and Governor Kathy Hochul refrain from participating in the 25th anniversary commemoration of the September 11 terrorist attacks.
In an August 11 letter addressed to Mamdani, the 600-member Port Authority Retired Police Association told the mayor that he was not welcome at the memorial ceremony.

“We do not believe you have earned the privilege to stand at Ground Zero alongside us, the families, survivors, and our fellow first responders,” association President John McDevitt wrote. “We do not believe you have earned the privilege to stand at Ground Zero alongside us, the families, survivors, and our fellow first responders.

“Your presence at Ground Zero on 9/11 would cause profound pain to members of the 9/11 community and risk turning a solemn day of remembrance into a political controversy,” he added.

No WHITES Allowed: MI5 [Britain’s domestic intelligence and security agency] Tells Applicants

Says white students shouldn’t bother applying

Britain’s domestic intelligence service is once again telling White university students they are not wanted.

For the 2027 Summer Intelligence Internship, MI5 has confined applications to people from a “black, Asian, mixed heritage or ethnic minority background” who also come from a “socially or economically disadvantaged background.”

White British candidates — including those from the poorest homes — cannot even submit an application. The agency calls this a response to “underrepresentation.” Critics call it what it is: racial exclusion.

Polish archbishop to religion teachers: “It is also part of the church’s mission to say: ‘You must not'”

Archbishop Adrian Galbas [of Warsaw] on religion teachers about abortion, same-sex marriage and surrogacy – “As a religion teacher, are you ready to bear the consequences for standing for the truth of the gospel?

“As a religion teacher, are you ready to bear the consequences for stading for the truth of the gospel? If you experience something unrelivable – something that contradicts your principles, your commitment and your conscience – then you know how to say out loud: ‘You must not do that! That’s not right! That’s wrong!’? Or are you silent for fear of losing something: your position, friends, money or access to elitist social circles?”, Archbishop Galbas asked on Saturday at an information event for religious teachers of the Archdiocese of Warsaw.

The meeting was preceded by a Holy Mass, which was offered by the Metropolitan of Warsaw, Archbishop Adrian Galbas. … In his sermon, the Archbishop pointed out that this annual meeting – shortly before the start of the new school and catechesis year – coincides with the day of commemoration of the martyrdom of St. John the Baptist, who was “sentenced to death because he spoke the truth”.

Trump Admin Cracks Down On School-Enforced Trans Madness In Kansas

For parents preparing to send their children back to school this autumn, the administration’s approach in Kansas is the blueprint for a major victory.

The Trump administration announced on Tuesday that it followed through on its vow to uphold parental rights in public schools. Under the leadership of U.S. Secretary of Education Linda McMahon, the administration has put an end to the Topeka Public School District’s gross violation of parental rights under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).

The department announced a resolution with the district that prioritizes parental rights over “gender transition” initiatives perpetrated by school staffers. Educators are no longer allowed to create “gender support plans” for students, and all previously created plans must be shared with parents.

Previously, school leaders had instructed educators to conceal information about students’ so-called “gender identity” from their parents. Trump’s Student Privacy Policy Office (SPPO) is now intervening in teacher and administrator training programs to ensure observance of a strict understanding of parental rights. Every school policy that barred parents from information about their children will be removed under the threat of losing federal funding, according to an agreement SPPO reached with the Topeka Public School District.

Record 85 join Catholic Church near Harvard as young adults fuel conversion surge

“God is clearly at work in numerous souls’ – Harvard undergraduate chaplain to Zeale

A record 85 people joined the Catholic Church this spring through Harvard’s Catholic ministry, including 45 students, faculty members and other university affiliates, signaling a broader surge of interest in faith among young adults.

The group represents the largest conversion class in the history of St. Paul’s Catholic Church and the Harvard Catholic Center in Cambridge, Massachusetts. It includes previously unchurched young adults raised in culturally Catholic households and former evangelical Protestants, according to Harvard undergraduate chaplain Father Nathaniel Sanders.

The ministry has already registered 65 people this year, putting it on pace to match last year’s increase. Sanders credited expanding student-led outreach, Bible study groups and a growing desire among young people to explore faith.

The guidelines relaxed under the Biden Administration remain in place. Marjorie Dannenfelser, president of Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America, describes her interactions with Dr. Overton, what the nomination signals about the Trump Administration’s attitude on life issues and previews the nominee’s Senate Confirmation hearings.
