Trump: Wounded National Guardsman Andrew Wolfe ‘Fighting for His Life’

President Donald Trump revealed that one of the National Guardsmen who was shot in Washington, DC, on Wednesday is “fighting for his life.”

When asked by a reporter on Sunday on Air Force One if he had spoken to the family of Andrew Wolfe, 24, one of the National Guardsmen who was shot, Trump said he had “spoken to both families.” Trump also added that Wolfe’s “parents are unbelievably great people” who want everyone to pray for their son.

DHS Sec Kristi Noem Stuns Leftist NBC Host Kristen Welker – Says Biden Allowed 100,000 Afghans to Infiltrate Our Country and Confirms the US will Deport Aliens with Pending Asylum Claims

During a Sunday morning appearance on NBC’s Meet the Press, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem discussed the Trump Administration’s immigration freeze on immigration processing for Afghan nationals and plans to remove the countless national security threats funneled through our border under the Biden Regime.

This comes just days after 29-year-old Afghan national Rahmanullah Lakanwal, who entered the country under Biden’s Operation Allies Welcome program in 2021, ambushed two West Virginia National Guardsmen in Washington, DC, killing one and critically injuring the other. …

Biden’s disastrous withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan during the summer of 2021 ushered in “up to 100,000” unvetted Afghan nationals under this so-called asylum program, Noem said.

It can be recalled that in 2021, incompetent Biden White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki told reporters, “I can absolutely assure you that no one is coming into the United States of America who has not been through a thorough screening and background check process.”

Minnesota government workers blame Walz for ‘massive fraud’ amid allegations against Somali community

More than 400 employees of the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) accused Gov. Tim Walz of failing to act on widespread fraud warnings and retaliating against whistleblowers.

The Minnesota Department of Human Service Employees account, which says it consists of more than 480 current staff members at the Minnesota DHS, wrote on X that Walz is “100% responsible for massive fraud in Minnesota.”

“We let Tim Walz know of fraud early on, hoping for a partnership in stopping fraud but no, we got the opposite response. Tim Walz systematically retaliated against whistleblowers using monitoring, threats, repression, and did his best to discredit fraud reports,” the group claimed. “In addition to retaliating against whistleblower[s], Tim Walz disempowered the Office of the Legislative Auditor, allowing agencies to disregard their audit findings and guidance.”

The Filibuster Must Be Euthanized Now

It should be obvious even to the most obtuse Republican in the Senate that the Democrats will eventually regain another governing trifecta in Washington and will shortly thereafter “nuke” the legislative filibuster. They have pledged to do so in order to pass several pieces of controversial legislation, and would have done it already had it not been for West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin and Arizona Senator Kyrsten Sinema. …

There are a number of reasons to do so while the GOP retains its thin congressional majority. Without the filibuster, for example, Senate Democrats would not be able to block passage of the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act, which was passed by the House last April. The SAVE Act would amend the National Voter Registration Act — better known as the Motor Voter Law — by requiring states to obtain in-person documentary proof of citizenship before registering a person to vote in a federal election. …

General Flynn Calls For National Address From Trump On Color Revolution Threat

Whether it’s the protest-industrial complex run by left-wing activist groups and bankrolled by unhinged progressive billionaires’ dark money NGO networks, nonstop leftist corporate media campaigns designed to delegitimize Trump and sway sentiment polls, judicial warfare waged by radicalized judges, constant orchestrated scandals and leaks, the involvement of foreign-aligned NGOs, student-driven pressure movements, or even the weaponization of far-left militant groups – all of these elements function as interconnected spokes in a much larger color-revolution wheel – a regime change operation orchestrated by leftist billionaire kings and Democrats.

The latest example – the scripted “Seditious Six” video urging the military to “refuse illegal orders” without specifying any – fits textbook color-revolution pressure messaging.

‘Blessed are the peacemakers’: Pope Leo gives address to government leaders upon arrival in Lebanon

After concluding his apostolic visit to Turkey, Pope Leo XIV arrived Nov. 30 in Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, where he gave an address to Lebanese government officials that called for peaceful dialogue and cultivating hope in the nation.

Upon arrival at the capital, the Pontiff was welcomed by people waving Lebanese and Vatican flags who had lined the streets of his route. Signs that read “Welcome Pope Leo” had also been put up.

This visit marks an important moment for Lebanese Catholics, and Catholics around the world, especially because Lebanon has the greatest share of Christians in the Middle East. The central theme of the Pope’s apostolic journey is “Blessed are the peacemakers,” which is also significant as Lebanon continues to face economic crisis and unrest.

Let’s Make Dogma Great Again by Benedict Kiely

We remember Chesterton’s great quip that the object of a New Year is that “we should have a new soul.” Part of that, I think, apart from repentance and resolution to avoid the sins and failures of the past year, is to enter the new year with a sense of hope.

Not a naïve optimism, but a sense of hope and trust in God, and a willingness to cooperate with Him, to listen to Him. And yes, a new soul means a conversion. Let us, in a profound way, be more committed to our faith, in public and in private, even as we end the first month of the new year, than we were in 2024.

That sense of hope has, I believe, solid grounds, even if the grounds are the size of a mustard seed. Although it is necessary to speak realistically and regularly of the great void that has appeared in the West due to the decline of the Faith, and the dark forces that are massing, there are some points of light, visible, even if small, due to the darkness.
