SCOTUS to review Trump executive order on birthright citizenship

The Supreme Court on Friday agreed to review the legality of President Donald Trump’s executive order to end birthright citizenship in the U.S., a landmark case that stands to profoundly upend the lives of millions of Americans and lawful U.S. residents.

At issue is the executive order Trump on his first day back in office. The order seeks to end birthright citizenship for nearly all persons born in the U.S. to undocumented parents, or parents with lawful temporary status in the country — a seismic shift that critics note would break with some 150 years of legal precedent.

Oral arguments in the case are expected to be held sometime between February and April next year, with a ruling expected from the high court by the end of June.

Raking In Hundreds Of Millions For Trafficking Kids Destroys U.S. Catholic Bishops’ Credibility On Immigration

Earlier this week, Anna Gallagher, executive director of the Catholic Legal Immigration Network Inc. (CLINIC) crooned: “As we enter the Advent season, we remember that the Holy Family themselves were migrants seeking safety.” It is a recurring motif to validate the resistance of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) to curtailment of illegal immigration.

In November, the USCCB prepared for Advent by declaring war on the Trump administration with a “Special Pastoral Message on Immigration.” The insurrectionist tenor of this rare “special message” places the globalist conceits — and monetary interests — of the hierarchy ahead of the just laws of their own country.

Larded with scriptural citations isolated from historical context, the declaration erases distinctions between lawful immigration and waves of illicit, unvetted migrants. The term illegal does not appear. This is a calculated omission for emotional effect. Inaccurate wording disguises the USCCB’s self-interested opposition to the deportation of illegal immigrants by suggesting that immigration itself is under siege. The fear-mongering is deliberate. …

Majority of Americans support Trump’s $2K tariff dividend proposal: Poll

Rasmussen poll released Friday found that the majority of Americans support President Donald Trump’s idea to send $2,000 tariff dividend checks to low-income and middle-class families.

Trump floated last month using excess money from the tariffs to pay down the national debt and to send $2,000 stimulus checks to struggling families amid ongoing frustrations with the economy.

The poll found that 62% of likely U.S. voters who responded to the survey said they support sending the $2,000 checks to Americans, including 34% who strongly agree with the proposition. Just 29% said they disapprove of the idea, including 18% who strongly disagree.

Trump Orders Review Of Why U.S. Childhood Vaccination Schedule Has More Shots Than Peer Countries

President Donald Trump will direct his top health officials to conduct a systematic review of the childhood vaccination schedule by reviewing those of other high-income countries and update domestic recommendations if the schedules abroad appear superior, according to a memorandum obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation.

“In January 2025, the United States recommended vaccinating all children for 18 diseases, including COVID-19, making our country a high outlier in the number of vaccinations recommended for all children,” the memo will state. “Study is warranted to ensure that Americans are receiving the best, scientifically-supported medical advice in the world.”

Abigail Spanberger Nominates FBI Agent Who Wrote Memo Targeting Catholics for Top Safety Post

Catholics beware: Virginia Governor-elect Abigail Spanberger apparently doesn’t consider it disqualifying for someone to endorse an activist group that considers the official teaching of your faith “hateful.”

Stanley Meador, formerly the special agent in charge at the Richmond FBI office, approved the notorious memo targeting “radical-traditional Catholics” and citing as a reliable source a far-left activist group that characterizes part of the Catechism of the Catholic Church as hateful enough to merit inclusion on a map with chapters of the Ku Klux Klan.

Spanberger, who presents herself as a moderate and uniter, nominated Meador the commonwealth’s next secretary of public safety and homeland security.

‘Fourth Reich’: Musk Strikes Back At EU ‘Tyrants’ After X Fine

Elon Musk is not taking the outrageous fine from Brussels bureaucrats lying down, lashing out at EU officialdom for taking on Nazi characteristics and oppressing their own citizens’ best interests…

As Catherine Salgado reports for PJMedia.com, Musk also re-shared a post about Irish teacher Enoch Burke, who was jailed for refusing to use transgender pronouns, and later replied to another user, “So many politicians in Europe who are traitors to their own people.”

And Musk highlighted the fact that Meta has a verification program similar to X’s, yet the EU hasn’t onerously fined the more censorship-prone Meta.

Musk reposted and reiterated his previous explanation of why he bought X (then Twitter) in the first place. …

Rubio Blasts $140M EU Fine of Musk’s X for Digital Violations

Secretary of State Marco Rubio took to X on Friday to blast the European Commission for its decision to fine Elon Musk’s social media platform X 120 million euros, or about $140 million, for breaches of the bloc’s digital regulations.

The move by European Union regulators follows a two-year investigation into whether the platform violated the EU’s Digital Services Act (DSA). The legislation mandates that large online platforms curb illegal or harmful content and improve transparency around advertising and data access for researchers and regulators.

“The European Commission’s $140 million fine isn’t just an attack on @X, it’s an attack on all American tech platforms and the American people by foreign governments,” Rubio wrote following the decision. “The days of censoring Americans online are over.”

Hindus Take Over North Carolina; Muslims Take Over Texas; Catholics Take Over Parish Basements -Commentary

In January 16, 2019, 130 acres of rural North Carolina land near Raleigh were purchased by Carolina Murugan Temple (CMT). A month prior, their plans to build the largest Hindu statue in North America were approved by the county. Under construction now, CMT plans to build a 155-foot-tall statue, which will sit on a 35-foot pedestal. It will be taller than the Statue of Liberty, which stands at 151 feet, not including the pedestal.

Further down south, in Texas, a similar development has faced significant criticism. The Meadow, formerly known as EPIC City, is a 402-acre site on the outskirts of Josephine, Texas. Similar to the Hindu-centric Vedic Village, The Meadow’s community plans include homes, a mosque, a religious school, a senior living center, as well as retail spaces. While the inner workings of The Meadow are not as commune-esque as those of proposed Hindu communities, the objective is the same in both cases: to create an isolated community in which these anti-Christian religions can thrive and grow.

Acting ICE director calls for ‘ICE was here’ Nativity be removed from Massachusetts church

Acting Immigration and Customs Enforcement Director Todd Lyons and the Archdiocese of Boston called Saturday for a Massachusetts church to remove its “ICE was here” sign from its Nativity display.

A Nativity scene at St. Susanna Parish in the Boston suburb of Dedham shows an empty manger, along with the sign and contact information for a group that monitors immigration enforcement in Massachusetts.

The display was created by the church’s peace and justice group, which the church’s leader Rev. Stephen Josoma said is intended to see what it would be like “if Christ was born into the context of the world today,” rather than over 2,000 years. …

“The actions of the activist reverend, Stephen Josoma, are absolutely abhorrent and add to a dangerous narrative responsible for a more than 1,150% increase in assaults on ICE officers,” Lyons told Fox News. “Josoma has become infamous for using his pulpit to advance his activist agenda and has now caught the attention of the Archdiocese of Boston, which has publicly condemned his most recent political stunt.
