Trump’s SOTU “Stand Up” Moment Exposed The True Agenda Of Democrats
For those who remember the ever evolving nightmare of Joe Biden’s far-left four year regime, it’s not shocking at all to see the Democrat Party refuse to applaud even the most basic of pro-American policies. Many people remember Joe Biden’s “Soul Of The Nation” speech, standing at his podium bathed in blood red lights and accusing “MAGA conservatives” (who represent the vast majority of conservatives according to the election outcome) of being a “threat to democracy.”
It was this speech that cemented the clear division between the political left and anyone who disagrees with them. If you want common sense policies in government; if you want secure borders, no transgender surgeries or hormones for kids, no sexualized books in public schools, no vaccine passports and no war with Russia, then they consider you to be an enemy of the state.

The Right’s Brand Is ‘America First.’ The Left’s Brand Is Getting Mad About That
In the most made-for-TV of many made-for-TV moments in Tuesday night’s State of the Union address, President Donald Trump urged every member of Congress to “stand up and show your support” for the statement: “The first duty of the American government is to protect American citizens, not illegal aliens.” Cameras panned to show nearly the entire left-hand side of the chamber awkwardly remaining in their seats. After two minutes of Republican cheering and Democrat scowling, Trump suggested that Democrats should “be ashamed of yourselves,” and the cameras showed Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Mogadishu, shouting angrily in response.
Sure, the question was a setup, but it was a really, really easy setup, the kind of statement you might assume was a trick question if it showed up on a civics exam. Democrats could easily have neutered the stunt just by agreeing that a government’s primary duty is to its citizens, a concept that even the known right-wing radicals at the World Economic Forum recognize in word if not in practice.

Ilhan Omar Seethes As Trump Declares ‘War On Fraud’
U.S. Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) appeared to be seething with rage after President Donald Trump announced a new “war on fraud” during his State of the Union address on Wednesday night.
“When it comes to the corruption that has been plundering America, there is no more stunning example than what’s been happening in Minnesota,” the president declared. He was speaking in reference to public welfare fraud in Minnesota, much of which has been perpetrated by the state’s Somali community, which is the largest in the nation.
The most prominent example is the Feeding Our Future scandal that began in 2022. That case, the largest COVID-19-related fraud scheme in the U.S., involved 78 defendants accused of stealing nearly $250 million from federal child nutrition programs by falsifying meal claims, creating phony invoices, and using fake names. To date, 56 individuals have pleaded guilty, and seven have been convicted, including founder Aimee Bock.

Vance to Lead White House Anti-Fraud Task Force
The White House is preparing to launch a new anti-fraud task force aimed at cracking down on abuse of government-funded programs in California and other states, sources familiar with the plans said.
Sources told CBS News that Vice President JD Vance will lead the initiative, which is expected to focus on rooting out fraud schemes that exploit taxpayer-backed benefits and public assistance programs.
President Donald Trump is expected to sign an executive order creating the task force in the coming days, sources said.

Cardinals Müller, Sarah urge SSPX to submit to papal authority
Two prominent Catholic cardinals have expressed their profound concern and sorrow over a recently announced decision by the Society of St. Pius X — which rejects the authority of the Second Vatican Council — to ordain bishops this summer without papal approval.
“The only solution possible in conscience before God is for the Society of St. Pius X … to recognize our Holy Father Pope Leo XIV as the legitimate Pope not only in theory but also in practice, and to submit to his teaching authority and his primacy of jurisdiction without preconditions,” wrote Cardinal Gerhard Müller, former prefect of what is now the Vatican’s Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith, in a Feb. 21 piece published by the independent Austrian Catholic newsmagazine Kath.net.

Goodbye, SSPX
As expected, the head of the SSPX, Fr. Davide Pagliarani, has sent a letter to Cardinal Fernández formally rejecting the offer of further dialogue over doctrinal matters. “While I certainly rejoice at a new opening of dialogue,” he wrote, “I cannot accept the perspective and objectives in the name of which the Dicastery [for the Doctrine of the Faith] offers to resume dialogue in the present situation.” The tone and tenor of the letter are formally polite but with an undercurrent of combative resistance to Rome’s insistence on certain doctrinal non-negotiables as the key determinant for formal regularization of the Society. Apparently, for Fr. Pagliarani, such insistence on faithfulness to the contemporary magisterium as the central demand for any hope of reconciliation is just a bridge too far.
Fr. Pagliarani’s stance makes it clear that further discussions will be as pointless as a defibrillator in a morgue. The conversation is dead, and the corpse of ongoing “dialogue” cannot be resuscitated. If the SSPX proceeds with its plans to consecrate new bishops without papal approval in July, its excommunication seems all but guaranteed.
