Trump Cabinet Meeting: Administration Oversaw ‘Largest Drop in the Murder Rate Ever Recorded’ in 2025
President Donald Trump revealed during Tuesday’s Cabinet meeting that his administration oversaw the “largest drop in the murder rate ever recorded” in 2025.
“This team has achieved more than most other administrations achieve in eight years,” Trump said during the 12th Cabinet meeting, noting that his administration prides itself in transparency by making these Cabinet meetings available to the press.
“We took the most dangerous, unsafe, violent, and open border in the world, anywhere in the world. There’s no border like the border we had, and [we] created the most secure border in the history of our country,” Trump said as he opened up the meeting, noting that the figures suggest that no one has come into the country illegally in the last 12 month period.
“Zero illegal aliens admitted to the United States in the last 12 months, and that’s — those charts are made by, you would say, politically unfriendly people… So it’s been zero,” he said, noting that he is surprised by that figure as well.

Trump Admin Targets Big Immigration’s Legal Industrial Complex
‘It is standard practice for immigration attorneys representing illegal aliens to assert that virtually every illegal alien is going to be persecuted or tortured in his or her home country.’
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is starting to dismantle the legal industrial complex pushing for mass migration by cracking down on immigration lawyers who file fraudulent asylum claims.
DHS directed Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) on Tuesday to develop policies to go after the attorneys who aid and abet illegals obtaining legal entry and status in the United States fraudulently, under a law already establishing penalties for document fraud. DHS said that ICE attorneys will have “greater authority to enforce the law.”
“For many years, millions of illegal aliens have committed fraud in our immigration system. No place is this more rampant than in immigration court,” DHS General Counsel James Percival said. “Protection claims like asylum are intended to cover unique and narrow circumstances, but it is standard practice for immigration attorneys representing illegal aliens to assert that virtually every illegal alien is going to be persecuted or tortured in his or her home country.”

Union Workers Accuse New York Times of Using AI Surveillance to Spy on Them
In a backlash against Artificial Intelligence, New York Times employees who are unionized have taken legal action against the venerable newspaper, asserting it uses the technology to “surveil and monitor” them.
Personnel in the New York Times Guild and the distinct Times Tech Guild filed two complaints and an unfair labor practice accusation against the Gray Lady, alleging the publication is positioning AI to snoop on employees in a “violation of their collective bargaining agreement,” according to a story by Fox News.
“Using AI to surveil our work violates our contract and creates a skewed, inaccurate picture of our members’ work,” said Benjamin Harnett, chair of the Tech Guild’s generative AI committee and a staff software engineer at the Times. “Our work takes human judgment, problem-solving and skill that can’t be accurately assessed by AI analysis and proxy metrics. It’s the equivalent of setting an arbitrary story quota for journalists.”
But a New York Times spokesperson took exception to the union’s complaint.
“We disagree with the characterizations made in the grievance and will respond as part of our normal contractual process. Likewise, we will respond to this Request for Information (RFI) in due course as we’ve done with 80+ other RFIs from the Guild in recent years,” a Times spokesperson told Fox News Digital.

CatholicVote demands answers in Washington Nationals’ anti-Catholicism scandal
CatholicVote is calling for explanations from the Washington Nationals after a senior team executive was caught on hidden camera saying the organization avoids featuring pitcher Trevor Williams on social media because of his public defense of the Catholic faith.
“It appears that the Washington Nationals have someone on their marketing team who refuses to work with one of the team’s players, Trevor Williams. Why? Because Trevor stood up and defended his Catholic faith,” CatholicVote Vice President of Advocacy Joshua Mercer said.
As Zeale News previously reported, undercover footage released May 26 by the O’Keefe Media Group showed Nationals Director of Community Relations Sean Hudson saying Williams — a Catholic pitcher who publicly criticized the Los Angeles Dodgers’ 2023 decision to honor the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, a group of pro-LGBTQ activist drag performers who routinely mock Catholicism — is excluded from casual promotional posts, including lighthearted player polls.
