Trump Casts Vision of Prosperous, Peaceful Middle East Following Israel-Hamas Ceasefire

President Donald Trump cast his vision for a prosperous Middle East as he spoke before world leaders in Israel and Egypt.

Together, Israel and America will “build a legacy that all the people of this region can be proud of,” Trump said while standing before the Knesset, Israel’s parliament, only hours after the 20-remaining living hostages were set free after two years in Hamas captivity.

With a ceasefire holding between Israel and Hamas that the U.S. played a central role in brokering, and negotiations underway for a permanent end to the war, Trump called for lasting peace and collaboration in the Middle East.

Democrats who condemned Israel’s Gaza campaign silent after Trump-brokered ceasefire takes effect

Some of the Democratic Party’s most outspoken critics of Israel’s war in Gaza, lawmakers who for months have accused the Jewish state of committing genocide, have remained strikingly silent in the days since President Donald Trump’s brokered ceasefire between Israel and Hamas went into effect. …

[P]rogressive Democrats who once dominated headlines with calls to “end the genocide” have offered no new public statements acknowledging the development. Among those who have not commented are Reps. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), Ilhan Omar (D-MN), Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), and Summer Lee (D-PA) — members of the so-called Squad who have been some of Israel’s fiercest critics.

The Man The Left Calls A ‘Nazi’ Just Signed A Peace Deal Protecting Millions Of Jews

Monday was a day of rejoicing, of gratitude. For the families and friends of the 20 last living hostages freed after two years of hell, it was a day of fully breathing once again. The hostage release came as a very good sign that Hamas, the genocidal monsters responsible for the devastating two-year war with Israel, could at least come through on a principle term in a long sought ceasefire.

“This is the day the Lord has made known to us, and we will rejoice in it,” Zvika Mor, father of Eitan Mor, said after reuniting with his hostage son, according to reporting by the Times of Israel.

The Medal Of Freedom Was Created For People Exactly Like Charlie Kirk

For years, the Presidential Medal of Freedom has been awarded to celebrities and political allies. But on Tuesday, President Donald Trump will posthumously award Charlie Kirk the highest civilian honor, reviving the medal’s original intent of recognizing those who have made extraordinary contributions to the security, ideals, and freedoms of the country.

Kirk was assassinated on Sept. 10 while speaking at a college campus in Utah, allegedly by a left-wing radical who espoused Antifa ideology and transgender ideology.

President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed on Oct. 13 that he plans to meet his U.S. counterpart, Donald Trump, in Washington later this week.

Talking at a press conference alongside EU diplomacy chief Kaja Kallas, Zelensky said the phone calls “were not enough” to discuss all key topics.

Famous Jesuit Artist Accused of Sexual, Spiritual and Psychological Abuse by Dozens of Women, Rev. Rupnik To Undergo Trial in the Vatican

Rev. Marko Rupnik rose to prominence as a Jesuit artist whose mosaics decorate basilicas worldwide.

But he later became the source of a sex scandal that was a bad stain in the legacy of late Jesuit Pope Francis, who was criticized for dismissing allegations of gross misconduct against Rupnik.

Now, under Leo XIV, the Vatican has empaneled judges to decide the fate of the artist, accused by more than two dozen women of ‘sexual, spiritual and psychological abuse’.

Trump: ‘I don’t think there’s anything going to get me in heaven’

President Donald Trump said over the weekend he doubted that he would make it to heaven, prompting speculation as to whether he was attempting a self-effacing joke or sharing a genuine spiritual worry.

The comment came during a flight on Air Force One Sunday, in response to Fox News reporter Peter Doocy asking about whether brokering a ceasefire and hostage deal between Israel and Hamas would help with his previously stated desire to reach heaven.

“I’m being a little cute — I don’t think there’s anything going to get me in heaven, okay? I really don’t,” Trump answered. “I think I’m not maybe heaven bound. I may be in heaven right now as we fly in Air Force One. I’m not sure I’m gonna be able to make heaven, but I’ve made life a lot better for a lot of people.”
