Rock and roll legend and longtime Trump supporter Ted Nugent delivered a pre-show address to the Trump rally in Wichita, Kansas, on Monday, and he opened for President Trump with fire.
Nugent took the stage to an electrified crowd, chanting “USA” as his hit song, Stranglehold, filled the arena.
After taking the stage and screaming, “Kansas! I love real Kansas,” Nugent began, “Look at you. Take a good look around you: Real America! I love real America.”
“You know how much I love real America? I was in a tree stand in the swamps of Michigan this morning, and I got a call from President Trump, and he said, ‘Would you come to Kansas and raise some hell with me?’” he continued.

Federal agents collared suspects in a slew of voter fraud cases Monday morning, chasing targets across California drawn from a list of more than 20,000 suspected noncitizens in the state who allegedly registered to vote in next month’s midterm election.
Under the effort dubbed “Operation Protect the Vote,” law enforcement authorities sought more than two-dozen noncitizens charged with fraudulently registering to vote in US elections, in which most of them allegedly cast illegal ballots. Authorities called it the biggest such takedown in the state’s history.
The California Post was there as Homeland Security Investigations swooped on the City of Commerce home of Alexander Muñoz around 6 a.m.
The agents pounded on the front door, calling for Muñoz to come out. He emerged and was taken into custody. A family member ridiculed the armed uniformed agents who led Muñoz away. “You all need to get a job,” he said.
Authorities say Muñoz, 72, a Belizean national, fraudulently registered to vote in September 2019, claiming he was a US citizen, according to prosecutors. He then voted in US elections in 2020, twice in 2022, and in 2024.
Muñoz also lied on his application to become a naturalized US citizen, when he falsely stated under oath to have never claimed to be a citizen, investigators say. He faces felony charges, including making false statements in a naturalization application. …

Sen. Elissa Slotkin laid out Democrats’ plans for another round of lawfare against President Donald Trump’s administration in a public interview last week, saying the prosecutions would be a “deterrence message” to scare young conservatives away from politics.
Speaking to students at the University of Chicago, Slotkin said, “The people around Donald Trump … have no immunity the way the president does. … So you go after the people who do his bidding.”
“I want to look at these signature cases and not just focus on the president, but on the people who enabled him,” Slotkin continued. “I want young people coming out of school to say, ‘Should I go work for the Trump administration? Like that sounds fun. I might get an opportunity.’ I want them to be like, ‘Lord, that might be buying myself a ton of problems that I don’t want, and so let me avoid participating in that.’ I want that deterrence message.”

An 11 p.m. curfew took effect in parts of the Paris metro area on Monday, along with curfew restrictions in other cities, after the Macron government embarrassingly struggled for weeks to contain far-left social unrest and chaos that had spiraled out of control. Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu said the measures helped restore calm overnight and will put new curfews in place where needed today.

The Archdiocese of Denver said Fr Chad Ripperger agreed to a year-long pause from public speaking and interviews, though it did not explain what prompted the request
A prominent exorcist priest has agreed to a year-long break from public speaking and interviews at the request of the Archbishop of Denver, the archdiocese announced on Monday, October 19.
“Archbishop [James] Golka recently met with Fr Chad Ripperger to discuss his ministry and his community, the Society of the Most Sorrowful Mother. During that conversation, the Archbishop asked Fr Ripperger to consider a one-year fast from public speaking and interviews. The time will allow him to devote himself to the Society and to the people it serves,” the archdiocese said in a statement provided to the Catholic Herald.
Fr Ripperger, the statement said, “readily agreed” to the conditions.
At the end of the year, Fr Ripperger and the Archdiocese of Denver will “review the arrangement together”, the statement said.
