Stephen Miller: Trump Will Smash ‘Vast Domestic Terror Movement’
White House deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller on Monday called for an expansive federal response to what he described as organized networks contributing to political violence, invoking the death of conservative leader Charlie Kirk as the impetus for his remarks.
The White House will use the departments of Justice and Homeland Security to “identify, disrupt, dismantle, and destroy” those networks, Miller said to Vice President JD Vance, who hosted Monday’s episode of “The Charlie Kirk Show.”

FBI Arrests Two Men for Planting Bomb Under News Vehicle Near Site of Charlie Kirk’s Assassination
Two men were arrested by the FBI for allegedly placing an explosive device under a regional FOX affiliate’s news truck in Utah.
The explosive was found underneath a FOX 13 Salt Lake City vehicle in the suburb of Magna on Friday. The detectives concluded that it was not able to explode after being lit.
The Daily Wire reported that the suspects are Adeeb Nasir, 58, and Adil Justice Ahmed Nasir, 31. The men were booked into Salt Lake County Jail on Sunday and are being held without bail.
Both men were charged with possessing explosive devices, possessing weapons of mass destruction, threat of terrorism and arson. …

Teachers Cheering Charlie Kirk’s Murder Prove Government Schools Are Even More Radical Than You Thought
If you’re looking for evidence that the country is controlled by large swaths of morally bankrupt Americans, scroll no further than your town’s teachers’ social media accounts, which were inundated this past week with celebrations of Charlie Kirk’s assassination and calls for more violence against Christians and conservatives.
The outpouring of support for the act of extremism did not come from teachers of one particular state, school district, or even subject. In fact, the incendiary response was so widespread that the Charlie Kirk Data Foundation, which claims to “lawfully collect publicly-available data to analyze the prominence of support for political violence in the interest of public education,” promises to release a directory of the tens of thousands of Americans — teachers, doctors, and others — who celebrated the death of Kirk online.

Washington Post columnist Karen Attiah — who was with the outlet for just over a decade — was terminated over a Bluesky post in which she misquoted the recently-assassinated conservative commentator Charlie Kirk. …
[The Bluesky post] that mentioned Kirk by name was a quote she attributed to him:
“Black women do not have the brain-processing power to be taken seriously. You have to go steal a white person’s slot.” …
But as journalist Jerry Dunleavy noted, Attiah’s quote was inaccurate. She suggested, as a number of others had, that Kirk was referring to all black women when he said that they lacked “the brain-processing power to be taken seriously.” In reality, Kirk had directed that comment at a few specific black women: Michelle Obama, the late Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, former MSNBC host Joy Reid, and Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson.

Poll Shows 25% of Young People Say America Better Off With Charlie Kirk Assassinated
Over a quarter of young voters believe America is “better off” following the killing of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, according to a new survey.
The Napolitan News Service poll found that a staggering 26% of those aged 18 to 34 answered “yes” to the question: “While it is always difficult to wish ill of another human being, is America better off now that Charlie Kirk has been killed?” Among Democrats, 24% also responded affirmatively.

What’s Going on in Utah? Another Trans Killer Mia Bailey Slayed Parents Last Year and Was Arrested in St. George — Just Minutes from Charlie Kirk Assassin Tyler Robinson’s Home with Trans Boyfriend
In a shocking coincidence, transgender double-murderer Mia Bailey lived in Washington City and was arrested in nearby St. George, just minutes away from the residence shared by Tyler Robinson, the 22-year-old accused of assassinating conservative icon Charlie Kirk, and his transgender partner, Lance Twiggs.
Robinson’s parents and Bailey’s parents both lived in Washington, Utah, approximately 5 minutes apart, in a small town of 27,993 people as of 2020.
After murdering his parents, Bailey was arrested in St. George, just minutes from the Fossil Hills Townhomes community where Robinson and Twiggs lived together.
While no direct connection between the cases has been established, it does raise questions about the radicalization of the transgender community in the area.

Mass Attendance Up at Various Colleges in Wake of Charlie Kirk Assassination
In what some are calling “the Charlie Kirk effect,” people across the nation, including many college students who are not ordinarily churchgoers, have decided to go to church since the assassination last week of the conservative Christian political activist Charlie Kirk.
Matt Zerrusen, co-founder of Newman Ministry, a Catholic nonprofit that operates on about 250 campuses nationwide, told CNA he has spoken with Catholic college ministry leaders throughout the country over the last few days, and “every one of them told me they’ve seen bigger crowds” at Masses and lots of people “they’ve never seen before.”
“I have not talked to anyone who has not seen an increase in Mass attendance,” Zerrusen said. “Some schools are reporting increases of 15%.”

Cardinal Pizzaballa forgives families’ diocesan school debts in honor of Jubilee Year
As a special gesture for the 2025 Year of Jubilee, Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa has announced that his diocese will forgive all debts owed by families to the schools of the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem for all years leading up to the 2024-2025 school year.
“We hope that this gesture will make life easier for many of our families in need and help them to regain confidence and hope,” Cardinal Pizzaballa wrote in the announcement dated Sept. 14, the feast of the Exultation of the Holy Cross.

The Catholic Herald asked the Cardinal whether we could inquire about the Traditional Latin Mass and its future status. He responded: “Better not answer that. I have been told that we will wait for the Holy Father to decide.”
The remark is notable for its clarity in signalling that the College of Cardinals is awaiting direction from the Pope himself. While other cardinals have in recent months expressed personal views on the future of the liturgy, Cardinal Gambetti stressed the need to leave the question in the hands of the Holy Father.

British royal family set to have first Catholic funeral in centuries
The first Catholic funeral of a member of the British royal family since the Anglican Reformation will take place at Westminster Cathedral on Sept. 16, that of the duchess of Kent, who converted to Catholicism in 1994.
The duchess of Kent — born Katharine Lucy Mary Worsley — died on Sept. 4 at Kensington Palace at the age of 92. She was raised as an Anglican and in 1961 was married in that communion to Prince Edward, duke of Kent and grandson of King George V.
Her conversion to Catholicism began in the wake of personal loss and suffering.

Reports: Christians Told to Renounce Jesus or Starve in Sudan Civil War
The plight of Sudan’s two million Christians has become extremely dire as the brutal civil war between former junta partners Gen. Abdel Fattah al-Burhan and Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo grinds on.
Sudan was already one of the worst countries in the world for Christian persecution and neither side in the two-year civil war has demonstrated much concern for their safety.
According to Christian persecution watchdog Open Doors, at least 150,000 Christians have been killed in battles between Burhan’s Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and Dagalo’s Rapid Support Forces (RSF). Up to 15 million more Christians have been driven from their homes, creating the “world’s largest displacement crisis.”
