James Comey Indicted For ‘86 47’ ‘Threat’ Against Trump

Former Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director James Comey has been indicted by the Justice Department on charges related to an apparent threat, “86 47,” posted to social media in May 2025.

Comey is charged with “knowingly and willfully making a threat to take the life of, or inflict bodily harm upon, the President of the United States and knowingly and willfully transmitting a communication in interstate and foreign commerce that contained a threat to kill President Donald Trump,” the indictment states.

Comey’s post, which depicted seashells on a beach formed into the “86 47” message, has been broadly viewed as a not-so-subtle threat to President Donald Trump, and part of a larger left-wing campaign of assassination prep against Trump and other conservatives, meant to desensitize the American public to violence against the political right.

Anthony Fauci adviser indicted by DOJ on charges of concealing COVID records

The Department of Justice has indicted a former senior adviser to Dr. Anthony Fauci for allegedly destroying and concealing records from investigations into the origins of the COVID-19 pandemic.

David Morens, 78, has been charged with one count of conspiracy against the United States; two counts of destruction, alteration, or falsification of records in federal investigations; and two counts of concealment, removal, or mutilation of records.

The conspiracy also included an alleged “kickback” scheme where Morens took or was promised gifts — including wine bottles and meals at Michelin-starred restaurants — to conduct “official acts favorable” to a federal grantee.

The ex-National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) official faces up to 51 years in federal prison if convicted of all charges.

Patel turns tables on Walz in response to viral tweet on Minnesota fraud raids: ‘Come again?’

Patel said the FBI, DOJ and DHS partners ‘drafted and executed every search warrant today’

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz faced immediate backlash Tuesday after claiming credit for federal fraud raids in Minneapolis, prompting a sharp rebuke from FBI Director Kash Patel.

The clash underscores growing political tensions over a sweeping probe into fraud that critics say unfolded under Walz’s watch, as federal authorities now take the lead.

“Come again?” Patel posted on X in response to Walz, who claimed that Tuesday’s raids happened because Minnesota state agencies “caught irregular behavior and reported it.”

Jerusalem Patriarchate lodges complaint over alleged encroachments on Church land

The Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem has lodged a formal complaint with Israeli authorities over alleged settler encroachments on Church-owned land in the northern West Bank, warning that the protection of ecclesiastical property is a “red line” and confirming that legal action is under way. The intervention follows a field meeting on April 23 involving Church officials and Israeli civil and military representatives in the Tayasir and Hamam Il-Maleh areas of the Tubas Governorate.

The action was taken under the authority of Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, who was briefed on the developments and instructed officials to pursue the matter and provide support to affected residents.

According to the Patriarchate, its Endowment Department convened the field meeting with representatives of the Israeli Military Authorities and the Civil Administration to address what it described as the “serious effects” of recent encroachments on land owned by the Church in the Tayasir area. The meeting formed part of an ongoing legal process following what Church officials characterised as damage to agricultural land and disruption to local communities.

As part of that process, the Patriarchate submitted what it described as an “official and documented complaint” detailing incidents affecting both Church property and nearby residents across several locations. Following the submission, authorities reportedly initiated measures including pursuing those responsible and seizing heavy machinery allegedly used in land clearing and damage at the site.

Ancient ritual complex unearthed at site tied to biblical city in Ezekiel

Officials recently unveiled the remains of an ancient religious complex at a site often identified with a biblical city cited in the Old Testament.

The ritual complex, dedicated to the local deity Pelusios, was found at Tell el-Farama in North Sinai.

Tell el-Farama was once the ancient city of Pelusium — and is sometimes identified with a biblical city called “Sin,” mentioned in the Book of Ezekiel.

The recent excavation revealed a massive basin with a diameter of 115 feet, which was once filled with water from the Nile River.
