‘I’m Not Playing Games’: Trump Threatens Hamas
President Donald Trump made sure a reporter asking him about Gaza knew he was “not playing games” in demanding that Hamas disarm itself in a press conference Tuesday.
A reporter pressed him the issue of Hamas disarming following the recently signed peace deal after a meeting between Trump and Argentine President Javier Milei. The question follows Trump and other world leaders signing a ceasefire deal Monday for the conflict between Israel and Hamas.

Feds Reveal Mexican Drug Cartels Placing Bounties on ICE Agents with Help from Antifa, Latin Kings
Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kristi Noem says the Mexican drug cartels are placing bounties on the heads of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents, with help from far-left Antifa and the Latin Kings gang.
On Tuesday, Noem revealed that DHS has obtained credible intelligence indicating that the Mexican drug cartels are offering $2,000 to those who gather information and expose the identities of ICE agents and their families.
Likewise, the cartels are offering anywhere from $5,000 to $10,000 to those who kidnap or assault ICE agents and up to $50,000 to those who murder high-ranking DHS officials.

The Eucharist Is Not a Political Club or a Prop in an Open Borders Farce – Essay by John Zmirak
The latest blasphemous stunt by a Catholic priest to promote open borders ought to outrage anyone with respect for the Eucharist, much less for our country’s sovereignty and laws. Left-wing activist Rev. Larry Dowling organized a formal eucharistic procession, complete with smells and bells, and marched it up to the locked gates of an ICE facility on a Sunday, without notifying anyone in advance. Then he made a little scene in front of the fence, as if wicked Donald Trump were intentionally keeping Jesus away from the migrants, or some such nonsense.
This isn’t the first time a Catholic cleric has tried to use our sacraments to make a blatantly political attack on enforcement of our immigration laws. A few months ago, the Archbishop of Miami led a protest of Knights of Columbus on motorcycles to make an issue of the fact that an ICE facility had not yet set up a Catholic chaplaincy. President Donald Trump posthumously awarded the late conservative activist Charlie Kirk with the Presidential Medal of Freedom award on Tuesday afternoon, on what would have been his 32nd birthday.
“He was assassinated in the prime of his life for boldly speaking the truth, for living his faith and relentlessly fighting for a better and stronger America,” said Trump, speaking from the Rose Garden. “He loved this country, and that’s why this afternoon, it’s my privilege to posthumously award Charles James Kirk our nation’s highest civilian honor, the Presidential Medal of Freedom. State Dept Revokes Visas of Foreigners Who Celebrated Charlie Kirk’s Murder, Says They ‘Wish Death on Americans’
The State Department has started revoking visas for foreigners found to have celebrated the murder of Charlie Kirk.
Following Kirk’s brutal assassination during a speaking event at Utah Valley University last month, many leftists took to social media to celebrate his death.
Some of those individuals happened to be guests in the United States.
In a post on the X platform, the State Department said it had “no obligation to host foreigners who wish death on Americans.”

Massachusetts Revokes Christian Couple’s Foster License Because They Won’t Push LGBTQ Agenda
A devout Christian couple in Massachusetts lost their foster care license after refusing to sign a state policy requiring them to affirm foster children’s fake gender identities.
It’s a decision the pair says forces them to choose between their faith and caring for vulnerable infants.
Lydia and Heath Marvin, who have fostered eight children under age 4 since 2020 — many with serious medical needs — were told by the Massachusetts Department of Children and Families in April that their license would not be renewed because they declined to agree to the policy’s clause promoting LGBTQ. The requirement mandates that foster parents “support, respect, and affirm a foster child’s sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression,” according to the couple.
The Marvins, parents of three biological children, said the stipulation conflicts with their religious beliefs rooted in Christianity.

UN expert condemns surrogacy, calls practice ‘violence’ against women and children
Reem Alsalem, the United Nations (UN) special rapporteur on violence against women and girls, condemned surrogacy as a form of “violence” against women and children during a UN event in New York last week.
During the Oct. 8 event, which was co-organized by the Italian government, Alsalem said surrogacy “is clearly responsible for inflicting large-scale violence, abuse, and exploitation on women and children.”
She urged the international community to expose the industry’s abuses and amplify voices of women harmed by surrogacy.

Study sheds light on generational divide among US priests
The National Study of Catholic Priests found younger clergy more likely to be theologically orthodox and politically moderate.
The 2025 National Study of Catholic Priests, the results of which were released Oct. 14, found that younger clergy were more likely to describe themselves as theologically orthodox and politically moderate, to think access to the Traditional Latin Mass should be a priority, to feel lonely, and to believe they are expected to do too many things beyond their priestly calling.
Younger priests were also less likely to think that synodality should be prioritized and less concerned about the question of women’s influence in the Church than their older peers, according to the study.

German bishop condemns reparation prayer over Vatican LGBTQ pilgrimage
A German bishop has condemned a prayer of reparation offered by four bishops earlier this month following a Vatican pilgrimage by LGBTQ Catholics.
Auxiliary Bishop Ludger Schepers of Essen publicly denounced an act of reparation undertaken by four bishops on 4 October during the Catholic Identity Conference, after an LGBTQ pilgrimage to the Vatican on 6 September.
Speaking to the German bishops’ agency KNA, he described the gesture as “a scandalous sign of ecclesiastical narrow-mindedness and an open rejection of all those who long for a Church that truly lives the Gospel.”
