Judge Rules Tyler Robinson Will Face Trial For Assassination Of Charlie Kirk
Utah judge ruled Tuesday evening that Tyler Robinson, the man accused of assassinating Charlie Kirk, will stand trial for aggravated murder, meaning the state can seek the death penalty.
Coming up on one year after Kirk was assassinated on Sept. 10, 2025, Judge Tony Graf ruled that state prosecutors submitted enough evidence to meet the probable cause threshold necessary to bind the case over for trial. The threshold included not just evidence that Robinson committed the murder, but that the murder was aggravated and could have caused the deaths of others around Kirk.
In his order read from the bench, Graf reviewed in detail all the evidence presented at the preliminary hearing, which included video evidence, forensic DNA evidence, and Robinson’s own alleged admissions over text and in online chatrooms.

Reddington said he does not read the letters himself.

Trump Files Urgent Appeal with SCOTUS to Fire Transgender Military Members
President Donald Trump’s administration is asking the U.S. Supreme Court to allow the firing of 29 military service members who are transgender.
The urgent appeal involves the possible removal of active-duty service members who are also reservists, National Guard members, and one individual trying to enlist, ABC News reported Monday….
Trump issued an executive order in January 2025 which said that “expressing a false ‘gender identity’ divergent from an individual’s sex cannot satisfy the rigorous standards necessary for military service.” …
… [T]he 29 plaintiffs in the case will remain in the force and in the enlistment process for the time being.

Florida’s Curriculum on Communism — Every State Should Follow Suit by Francis P. Sempa
Florida’s middle and high schools are expanding instruction on communism for students in grades 6 through 12. Last November, Florida’s Board of Education approved new History of Communism standards to be implemented during the 2026-2027 school year.
In 2024, the Florida legislature passed, and Governor Ron DeSantis signed into law, measures requiring schools to teach about the “evils and dangers of Communism.” DeSantis started this process back in 2021. One goal of the law and new standards is to prepare middle school and high school students to “withstand indoctrination on Communism at colleges and universities.” Every state in the country should follow Florida’s lead, despite those on the left who characterize Florida’s move as a “dangerous recasting of McCarthyism” and designed to teach students “what to think, rather than how to think.”
A history professor at UCLA said: “If I were a teacher, I would feel really scared by this” — apparently teachers should be scared to tell the truth about communism. A retired Yeshiva University history professor expressed concern that the curriculum would downplay or ignore “McCarthyism,” which she described as “the longest lasting and most widespread episode of political repression within the United States,” ignoring the extent of communist infiltration of our government and society that even McCarthy underestimated. …

Europe’s Jihadi Migrants: Mapping Migrant Involvement in Jihadi Terrorism in Europe (2015–2025) by Simon Cottee
‘The actual data tell…that Muslim migrants are disproportionately represented in jihadi terrorism in Europe…Such an implication may be inconvenient for the defenders of open borders, who would prefer to talk about the menace of the far right, but it is nonetheless true.’
On a warm summer evening in late August 2024, a 26-year-old Syrian national named Issa al-Hasan carried out a mass stabbing at the ‘Festival of Diversity’ in Solingen, Germany, killing three people and injuring eight others.1 The attack took place in front of the main stage during a live performance by DJ Topic, who later revealed that security personnel had urged him to continue his set to prevent mass panic among the crowd. He kept playing for another 10–15 minutes, until the music was finally stopped. Eyewitnesses reported that al-Hasan, who had been in contact with an ISIS handler on Telegram the day before the attack, had shouted ‘Allahu Akbar’ during the assault.2 One of his victims, Ines Wallusch, a 56-year-old pharmacist, bled to death in the arms of her husband after suffering a fatal stab wound to her carotid artery.
ISIS soon claimed responsibility for the attack,3 describing al-Hasan as their ‘soldier’ who had targeted ‘Christians’ and ‘non-believers’ to avenge Muslims in Palestine and elsewhere. Al-Hasan, who fled the scene and was later captured and convicted of murder and terrorism offences, should never have even been in Germany in the first place: his asylum application was rejected in 2023,4 yet the authorities failed to remove him and he remained in the country. It is a cruel irony that he chose to unleash his murderous rage at an event explicitly promoting multiculturalism and diversity. …

Cardinal Burke will pray a rosary in downtown Amsterdam
Cardinal Raymond Burke will preside over a traditional mass and an international rosary on September 5 in the heart of Amsterdam as an act of Marian reparation.
Cardinal Raymond Burke will preside over a significant event in Amsterdam, where he will offer a traditional mass and lead an international rosary on September 5. This celebration, organized in collaboration with Radio María, is part of the devotion of reparation to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, becoming an annual appointment in the Catholic calendar of the Netherlands.
The program includes a papal mass in the traditional rite at the church of Our Lady Keizersgracht, followed by a procession from the rosary to the Vondelpark, located in the city center. At the conclusion of the devotions, Cardinal Burke will give a conference on the devotion of the first Saturdays. In addition, on September 6 he will hold another mass in the cathedral of Haarlem, where a new conference will also be held.
Last year, Cardinal Willem Eijk was in charge of leading the devotions, and in the 2024 edition, the country was consecrated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. This event, promoted by the Catholic network of Radio María, is presented as an international participation in the devotion of the first Saturdays, requested by the Virgin during the apparitions of Fatima.

Bishop reiterates threat to resign in dispute over Spanish shrine
The bishop has refused to accept a solution proposed by the Vatican-appointed commissioner.
A six-year dispute between the Spanish Diocese of Barbastro-Monzón and Opus Dei over a Marian image at the shrine of Torreciudad has escalated after almost a year of relative silence, with the local bishop again threatening to resign if the dispute is not resolved in his favor.
Vatican sources told The Pillar that the Vatican-appointed commissioner resolved the matter almost a year ago with an agreement thought to be largely favorable to Opus Dei, but Bishop Ángel Pérez Pueyo, SOD, has so far refused to accept the agreement.
The Vatican agreement provided for continued Opus Dei control of the shrine complex; for the normalization of its canonical status as a diocesan shrine, with the bishop appointing the rector from a shortlist presented by Opus Dei; and for the image of Our Lady of Torreciudad to visit its original chapel twice a year. …
“I cannot sign, approve, or consent to a solution that deprives this town of Barbastro-Monzón of its own Mother, or that turns her into a stranger who pays occasional visits to her children from someone else’s home,” he said.

A Saint among 115 martyred Blesseds: Saint Solomon Leclerq
These Catholic men died during the French Revolution, which lasted from 1789 to 1799. Why did they all die as martyrs, and what caused that one man to be named a saint?
On the night of September 2nd and in the early hours of September 3rd in 1792, 116 Catholic men were slaughtered.
While 115 of them have been beatified, one has also been canonized. Why did they all die as martyrs, and what caused that one man (only) to be named a saint?
These Catholic men died during the French Revolution, which lasted from 1789 to 1799. From the beginning, the revolutionary government of France knew that the Catholic Church would oppose their radical and violent agenda. The government, therefore, quickly began passing laws to persecute faithful Catholics. In time, they forced religious communities to close and demanded more and more control over the Church.
By late 1792, 116 clergy and religious men had been arrested and were being held as prisoners in two Parisian monasteries: the Hôtel des Carmes and the Abbey of Saint-Germain-des-Prés. The chief crime of these men was their refusal to take an oath swearing their allegiance to the revolutionary government and repudiating the authority of the pope. The prisoners included three bishops, four deacons, and one religious brother, but the rest were priests, some from religious orders and the rest from the diocesan clergy. …
