LAW ENFORCEMENT RAIDS MULTIPLE SITES [IN MINNESOTA] AHEAD OF VANCE VISIT FRIDAY [ARTICLE]

The raids took place at Iska, Inc. in St. Louis Park and Bright Horizon Therapy Center in Edina.

Law enforcement raids multiple sites ahead of Vance visit Friday

The raids took place at Iska, Inc. in St. Louis Park and Bright Horizon Therapy Center in Edina.

Federal and state law enforcement executed search warrants at two autism centers Thursday morning.

The raids took place at Iska, Inc. in St. Louis Park and Bright Horizon Therapy Center in Edina.

Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison’s Office confirmed the raids in a press release, saying they were carried out by the Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of Inspector General, the FBI, and the attorney general’s Medicaid Fraud Control Unit.

Ellison’s office said state and federal law enforcement are investigating both centers for Medicaid fraud.

The Minnesota Department of Human Services said it was “tracking today’s state and federal law enforcement activity.”

“Collaboration between local, state and federal authorities is essential to fighting fraud and stopping criminal schemes,” the agency said. “When we see evidence of fraud, we shut off money and refer suspected criminals to law enforcement. We are thankful to see criminals being held accountable.”

MARY PELTOLA SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM ALASKA BALLOT AFTER SHE’S CAUGHT CHEATING BY STEVEN ERTELT [ARTICLE]

A pro-abortion Democrat cheated again and America should not have to suffer the consequences of her actions and her radical views.

Democrat Senate candidate Mary Peltola should withdraw from the race or have her name removed from the ballot after a New York Times investigation revealed her campaign’s involvement in a secret effort to recruit a second candidate named Dan Sullivan to confuse voters and siphon votes from incumbent Republican Sen. Dan Sullivan.

The Times reported Wednesday that Peltola campaign aides, lawyers, and officials with the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee participated in a months-long “ballot composition project” that began in the summer of 2025.

A staffer was instructed to search voter records for other Alaskans named Dan Sullivan. The effort succeeded in recruiting Dan J. Sullivan, a retired teacher from a small fishing village, who advanced to the general election ballot under Alaska’s top-four ranked-choice system. The ballot now lists two Dan Sullivans alongside Peltola and a long-shot candidate.

Former Peltola campaign manager Elisa Rios told the Times that Peltola was not directly involved in the day-to-day operation but was “definitely aware.” The campaign has denied any involvement, stating it “has no involvement with either Sullivan campaign and did not recruit any candidates into the race.”

President Trump called the scheme “a fraud on the American public” and demanded that Peltola and the second Sullivan be removed from the ballot.

Alaska Gov. Mike Dunleavy has ordered the Department of Public Safety to investigate whether the effort violated state law. Sen. Lisa Murkowski said Alaskans “deserve the honest truth” and described a “pattern of lies and coverups.”

REPORT: POPE LEO XIV REQUESTED A MAIL-IN BALLOT FOR THE ILLINOIS MIDTERM ELECTIONS [ARTICLE]

Pope Leo XIV may not only be the first American to lead the Catholic Church, but he may also be the first American to lead the Catholic Church who votes by mail in an American election.

A Chicago native, the Holy Father, birth name Robert Francis Prevost, is still a registered voter in the state of Illinois, and the Will County clerk’s office confirmed to the Chicago Sun Times that his is among the names requesting a mail-in ballot for the upcoming midterm elections.

“Robert Francis Prevost is on the list of individuals who requested a vote by mail ballot for the upcoming election,” Kim Fladhammer, Will County clerk’s office chief of staff, told the outlet.

The pope reportedly requested the mail-in ballot on October 3. Previous records show that he voted in the 2012, 2014, and 2016 Republican primaries in the state of Illinois, as well as the 2012, 2014, 2018 and 2024 general elections. He also voted in the 2008 and 2010 Democrat primaries.

THE VATICAN IS PUTTING ON A BAD SHOW BY BISHOP MARIAN ELEGANTI OSB, FORMER AUXILIARY BISHOP OF THE DIOCESE OF CHUR [ARTICLE]

“So-called synodality has thus shown its true colors. It selects whom or what it includes.”

Bp. Eleganti’s commentary, sent to Per Mariam for publication, addresses the prohibitions placed on the Ad Petri Sedem pilgrimage by the Vatican last weekend. Details of the restrictions can be found here, with a response from the organisers here.

This year’s ban on access to St. Peter’s Basilica on October 24, 2026, for the tradition-minded “Ad Petri Sedem” pilgrims borders on hostility toward Catholics loyal to the Pope and orthodox in their faith, and has nothing to do with concern for unity in the Church or with operational difficulties in organizing liturgical celebrations in St. Peter’s Basilica.

The rites that exist within the Catholic Church demonstrate, through their peaceful coexistence with the Novus Ordo, that this is indeed possible. The Eastern Churches in full communion are even sui iuris (autonomous) particular Churches within the universal Catholic Church. No one views them as a threat to the unity of the Church. No one would deny them an altar or bar them from entering a Catholic church. No one except the Vatican, which denies access to conservative Catholics who are, incidentally, loyal to the Pope. The synodal hypocrisy (inclusivity) has thus been exposed for what it is. The “Ad Petri Sedem” pilgrims are not the FSSPX.

But we’ve known this for a long time: certain people are only inclusive as long as it serves their own goals. They ruthlessly and cold-bloodedly exclude alternative ways of thinking and different approaches to pastoral care and spirituality. That has been my consistent experience. We recognize the same pattern in politics as well.

Well, so-called synodality has thus shown its true colors. It selects whom or what it includes. “Todos, todos, todos” does not mean everyone, but only certain people.
