We live in a noisy world, a world where silence exists as a void to be filled, and amid the flurry of changes happening in the wake of the Second Vatican Council, it seems the liturgy has gone the same way. But, it wasn't always like this; and it certainly shouldn't be like this. We need peace and quiet in the liturgy. We have to offer our best to God, and silence is golden.
