Milo Yiannopoulos arrested by ICE, held at major deportation hub in Louisiana

Controversial former Breitbart editor Milo Yiannopoulos has been arrested by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and will remain in federal custody pending his removal from the United States, the Department of Homeland Security told Fox News Digital.
ICE sources told Fox News that Yiannopoulos is currently detained in Alexandria, Louisiana, a major hub used by the agency for deportation operations.
Authorities arrested Yiannopoulos, a United Kingdom national, on Thursday at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport in Kenner, according to DHS.
DHS said Yiannopoulos legally entered the U.S. through New York City on May 14, 2019, but remained in the country beyond his authorized stay.

Democrat Governor Wants To Remove ‘Mothers’ And ‘Pregnant Woman’ From State Health Code
Women who have given birth to a stillborn baby are no longer called a “mother” but are instead referred to as a “postpartum individual.”
Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro is quietly trying to erase women and mothers from his state’s health code.
The Democrat’s administration has removed female terminology and replaced it with transgender-inclusive language in a proposed overhaul to Pennsylvania’s health code. The terms “pregnant woman” and “mother of a newborn” have been replaced with “pregnant or postpartum individual” throughout the 502-page proposal, which was announced on August 8. Women who have given birth to a stillborn baby are no longer called a “mother” but are instead referred to as a “postpartum individual” in the proposed regulation changes.
Shapiro is pushing to give Pennsylvania’s Department of Health centralized police powers under the guise of “disease control measures” through expansive proposed regulatory changes to the health code, as The Daily Wire previously reported. These expanded powers include the ability to enter homes and schools without a warrant, access confidential medical records, and impose statewide school mask mandates for disease prevention. The Department of Health reports to the governor’s office, meaning this change would give Shapiro — and his successors — the ability to single-handedly implement draconian policies across the state.

NEW DOJ REPORT ALLEGES FBI ‘TOOK MINIMAL CORRECTIVE ACTION’ AFTER ‘RADICAL TRADITIONALIST’ MEMO

The FBI “took minimal corrective action” after a controversial leaked memo discussed “radical traditionalist” Catholics, the Department of Justice said Aug. 28.
A report by the U.S. Department of Justice’s Weaponization Working Group stated the FBI personnel responsible for the 2023 document, sometimes referred to as the “Richmond Memo,” have been terminated from their roles. Those firings were previously reported in June.
However, a 2024 review by the Department of Justice’s watchdog found “no evidence” of religious bias by those responsible for the memo’s creation.
“The Federal Bureau of Investigation is entrusted with the solemn responsibility of protecting the First Amendment rights of all Americans,” the Aug. 28 report stated. “History will rightly judge the Richmond Catholic Memo as a grave failure of the FBI Richmond Field Office to uphold that responsibility.”
In Aug. 28 statements released by the Department of Justice, Attorney General Todd Blanche and FBI Director Kash Patel pointed to the broader Weaponization Working Group, an effort by the Trump administration to target what it has characterized as the weaponization of government.

Rep Chris Smith (R-NJ) calls on Pakistan to protect and return abducted Christian woman Neha Faqir to her family
Rep. Chris Smith (R-NJ), the Co-Chair of the Tom Lantos Human Rights Commission (TLHRC), today called upon the government of Pakistan to protect the safety and fundamental rights of Neha Faqir, an 18-year-old Pakistani Christian woman, who was allegedly abducted in March and subsequently converted to Islam. A Pakistani court has rejected a petition brought by her family seeking her return.
“The circumstances surrounding Neha Faqir’s disappearance and subsequent conversion raise profoundly troubling questions about her safety, freedom of religion, and ability to exercise her rights without coercion or intimidation,” said Smith.
On August 20th, Smith and ten other Members of Congress sent a letter to Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Law and Justice Azam Nazeer Tarar, expressing concerns over Faqir’s case and urging “the Government of Pakistan to take appropriate action to ensure a just resolution of this matter.”
In addition to Smith, the bipartisan letter was also signed by Reps. James P. McGovern (D-MA), French Hill (R-AR), Gus Bilirakis (R-FL), Andy Harris (R-MD), María Elvira Salazar (R-FL), Riley Moore (R-WV), Randy Weber (R-TX), Michael Cloud (R-TX), Brad Sherman (D-CA), and Blake Moore (R-UT).

Sensational report from China: a new split in the Church?
A report about “terrible things happening to Catholics in China” should surprise no one who has been following events there for the past ten years—or, for that matter, for the past seventy years. But the details that follow, in bombshell story in Catholic World Report are sensational.
Anthony Clark, an expert on Chinese Catholic affairs, recounts his conversation with a Chinese bishop, whose name Clark does not expose. The bishop is “unaffiliated with the Patriotic Association,” Clark tells us. In other words he is a leader of the “underground” Catholic Church, and if he were identified he would immediately become a target for government prosecutors (if he is not in their sights already). This bishop says that the Church in China is now experiencing “a state of emergency.” …
The anonymous bishop goes on to say that in the Fujian province, the government’s aggressive campaign to control the Church threatens the integrity of the faith.
To “assure the survival of China’s Church,” new bishops have been “secretly consecrated.” The number is unknown, but he suggested that “at least ten new bishops” were ordained for the underground community there. …
