Why Trump’s Plan To Stop Noncitizens From Rigging The Census Might Work This Time by Ben Weingarten

The Trump administration just proposed the rule change that could finally deliver on ‘one man, one vote.’

The Trump administration has just made its most powerful move yet in the president’s long-running battle to ensure that the American government represents Americans.

It did so last week by proposing a rule that would require the Census Bureau to count only U.S. citizens and green card holders for apportionment purposes in the 2030 Census.

If implemented, millions of illegal aliens would no longer distort the political map. House seats and Electoral College votes would be divvied up based on population numbers reflecting the “We the People” our system exists to represent. The rule would neutralize foreign influence; eliminate the undue political power sanctuary jurisdictions have accrued through decades of mass illegal immigration; and restore the “one man, one vote” principle by ending the dilution of Americans’ voting power that has occurred through counting non-citizens in the population figures used to draw up districts.

Kamala Harris to Stump in Michigan with Socialist Abdul El-Sayed

Failed Democrat presidential candidate Kamala Harris plans to campaign with Michigan Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed next week, their first joint public appearance since she endorsed the progressive Democrat.

The former vice president heads to Michigan to campaign for El-Sayed as national Democrats work to unite behind him. His primary win had exposed deep rifts within the party. Harris and El-Sayed have talked multiple times since she endorsed him after his August primary victory, though Tuesday marks their first joint public appearance, according to the Associated Press.

Harris and El-Sayed will attend a Tuesday roundtable focused on black maternal health, according to his campaign spokesperson. El-Sayed is a physician who once ran the health departments in Detroit and Wayne County.

James Talarico Has A Favorite Drag Queen – And He Likes Grooming Kids

“Talafreako is a deeply sick and disturbed individual.” — Stephen Miller

James Talarico has a favorite Texas drag queen — and it’s a performer who has built a career around grooming young children.

The Democratic Texas Senate nominee immediately named Alyssa Edwards when asked at a recent campaign event to name his favorite Lone Star drag performer.

“Mr. Talarico, so nice to meet you. I was there when you defended the drags,” a man gushed to Talarico in a viral video circulating on social media.

“Who’s your favorite drag queen in Texas?” the man then asked.

“Oh my gosh, probably Alyssa Edwards,” Talarico responded with a smile and without hesitation.

The awkward exchange offers a fresh glimpse into Talarico’s long-standing support for drag performers, drawing White House attention as faith, gender, and transgender issues take center stage in his Senate race against Republican Attorney General Ken Paxton.

Hawley Advocates Mifepristone Ban With Pro-Life Declaration‌

At the inaugural Missouri Prayer Breakfast, Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Mo., announced the signing of a new Declaration for Life to restore the foundation on which America was founded: the defense of human dignity and the unalienable right to life.

The senator called on members of Congress, beyond Missouri and pro-life Republicans, to join him in signing the pledge.

“This Declaration for Life, written by pastors, is calling on everyday Christians across America to stand for life and confront the scourge of chemical abortion,” Hawley said. “We want to call on lawmakers from both parties to sign this declaration and support protecting human life in law. It’s time to take a vote on my legislation to ban the chemical abortion drug mifepristone.”

“This year marks America’s 250th anniversary. That milestone invites us to reckon with the convictions on which the country was built,” the Declaration for Life reads. “The Declaration of Independence gives us three examples of ‘unalienable’ rights: life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Life is the first of those rights because it is the condition of the others. It is thus the most foundational of all rights.”

Another Communist Nail in post-Orbán Hungary

The Tisza government has submitted a proposed amendment to Hungary’s Child Protection Act. The proposal would remove the current provisions restricting the promotion and portrayal of homosexuality, gender reassignment and gender identities that differ from one’s birth sex to minors.

The European Commission has repeatedly challenged the Hungarian legislation adopted in 2021, and last April the Court of Justice of the European Union ruled that the restrictions concerning LGBTQ content were incompatible with so-called “European values”.

Jimmy Lai, My Imprisoned Father, Taught Me That Suffering Is Not Meaningless – Commentary by Claire Lai

The faith of my father has sustained him through years of imprisonment. Now, as I face cancer, his example is teaching me to find grace and meaning in my own suffering.

Pope John Paul II once described a Nazi death camp as being “built for the negation of faith.” The conditions of my father’s imprisonment in solitary confinement are clearly designed to crush his spirit.

The humid Hong Kong summers are the harshest. Summer 2026 was particularly volatile, with both heatwaves and thunderstorms that left the prison floors damp. The windows in his cell are covered over, blocking access to fresh air and natural light.

In the nearly six years he has been kept in declining conditions, and despite his many ailments and advanced age, he has seldom been overwhelmed — by anything. But when he was told recently that I have cancer, he broke down. …

Today is the Feast of St. Hildegard von Bingen

‘With characteristic feminine sensitivity, Hildegard considers the theme of the mystical marriage between God and humanity precisely in the main part of her work, which was realized in the Incarnation.’ – Pope Benedict XVI

Music composed by Hildegard von Bingen: ‘A Voice from Heaven

Hildegard von Bingen (1098-1179), a mystic, theologian, and German composer, claims to have heard these melodies during supernatural experiences. While other visionaries may lose touch with reality and fall into ecstasy, Hildegard experiences her visions while remaining completely alert. She later conveys what she has seen and heard through imagery, writings, and music.

The title of this CD, Vox Aeternitatis, refers to the divine voice that instructs the mystic to write down her revelations. These compositions are drawn from the Symphonia harmoniae caelestium revelationum, Hildegard’s most important musical work. The title reflects the celestial origin of these pieces, which include seventy-seven items such as Psalms, Hymns, Sequences, and Antiphons. …
