Prop 50 Passes: California Voters Approve Newsom’s Power Grab to Eliminate 5 Congressional Seats

As expected, California voters approved Prop 50 which could help the Democrats flip 5 congressional seats in 2026.

Thanks to ballot drop boxes, mail-in ballots, ballot harvesting, and illegal aliens, voters approved Newsom’s power grab to eliminate five GOP congressional seats through 2030.

“The five California Republicans targeted by the redistricting plan include Representatives Doug LaMalfa in District 1, Kevin Kiley in District 3, David Valadao in District 22, Ken Calvert in District 41, and Darrell Issa in District 48,” KCRA reported.

Trump declares SNAP benefits will only flow once Dems end shutdown

President Donald Trump on Tuesday declared that he would only distribute SNAP benefits, aka “food stamps”, once the Democrats agree to end the ongoing government shutdown.

Trump made the announcement in the wake of court orders demanding he use emergency funds to keep SNAP benefits flowing, despite the government failing to approve a budget.

“SNAP BENEFITS, which increased by Billions and Billions of Dollars (MANY FOLD!) during Crooked Joe Biden’s disastrous term in office (Due to the fact that they were haphazardly ‘handed’ to anyone for the asking, as opposed to just those in need, which is the purpose of SNAP!), will be given only when the Radical Left Democrats open up government, which they can easily do, and not before!” he posted on Truth Social.

Earlier this week, Trump administration officials suggested they had worked out an arrangement to partially fund SNAP benefits. Roughly 42 million people currently receive SNAP benefits.

China backs Nigeria after Trump threatens action over Christian persecution

The Chinese government declared its firm support for Nigeria’s leadership Nov. 4 and warned against foreign interference in the country’s internal affairs — just days after President Donald Trump threatened possible military action in Nigeria because of Christian persecution there.

At a press conference in Beijing, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Mao Ning said that as a “comprehensive strategic partner of Nigeria, China firmly supports the Nigerian government in leading its people to a development path that fits Nigeria’s national realities.”

“We oppose any country’s interference in other countries’ internal affairs under the pretext of religion and human rights,” she added, according to the Chinese Embassy in Nigeria. “We oppose the wanton threat of sanction and use of force.”

Vatican nixes use of ‘Co-Redemptrix’ as title for Mary

The Vatican’s doctrinal office said Tuesday the title of “Co-Redemptrix” is not an appropriate way to describe Mary’s participation in salvation.

In Mater Populi Fidelis (“The Mother of the Faithful People of God”), the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith (DDF) said when an expression requires frequent explanation to maintain the correct meaning, it becomes unhelpful.

“In this case, the expression ‘co-redemptrix’ does not help extol Mary as the first and foremost collaborator in the work of redemption and grace, for it carries the risk of eclipsing the exclusive role of Jesus Christ,” according to the doctrinal note, released Nov. 4.

Pope Leo XIV approved the document, signed by DDF prefect Cardinal Víctor Manuel Fernández, on Oct. 7.
