Detroit Goes Red

Updated: Jun 25

'Victory in November or Death of the Republic'

As global elites were wrapping up their G-7 summit in Apulia, Italy, the Peopleā€™s Convention in Detroit, Michigan was revving up! Ā

In fact, THEE place to be in all the world this past weekend was 1 Washington Boulevard in Detroit, Michigan.

Thousands of patriots hailing from the once-world-renowned metropolis and around the country gathered at Huntington Place convention center, manifesting an historic political sea change.

Detroit, long suffering from the one-party rule of the Communist-Democratic party, hosted a bevy of among the most devoted patriots on the planet. The litany of luminaries speaking at the Turning Point Action-sponsored event included Marjorie Taylor Greene, J.D. Vance, Matt Gaetz, Scott Presler, Donald Trump Jr., Lara Trump, Vivek Ramaswamy, Roger Stone, Mike Lindell, Jack Posobiec, and Byron Donalds.

ā€œWe are the proud party, and they are ashamed. What else explains the Leftā€™s self-defeating embrace of the DEI agenda?" ā€” Matt Gaetz in Detroit

Steve Bannon, former Trump advisor, ordered to report to prison for a misdemeanor in two weeks by a weaponized justice system, let loose a 10-minute barn-burning address.

"You are a vanguard of a revolution. Do you understand that?" shouted Bannon, who hosts the popular "War Room" series with images of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Virgin Mary behind him.

Do you understand the inspiration you give the world, the young people here today? Who do you think inspires Germany, France and the United Kingdom? The young people in those countries are rising up against their leftist leaders for freedom and liberty and it's ... you that inspires them," he declared.

"Are we at war? Is this a political war to the knife? Are you prepared to leave it all on the battlefield of 2024?," the Patriot prodded.

Underscoring the do-or-die stakes, he said, "There's no other chance. You realize if they steal this election because they can't win the election ... no chance they can win it. ...

If they steal this election and they fully intend to steal it, this Republic ends."

Throughout the Catholic Bannon's rousing rally, the people cried out, "USA USA USA" and "Trump Trump Trump," words that could be heard reverberating down the mighty Detroit River right outside the Center.

Native Detroiter Dr. Ben Carson, known to be one of Trump's most loyal supporters and on the short list for VP, also spoke powerfully, albeit in his famous soft-spoken manner, highlighting the imminent terrorist threat Biden's open borders represents for Americans. The Christian retired neurosurgeon reminded the crowd of the greatest spiritual advantage the atheistic Dems do not own:

"We have a lot to be concerned about, but we have an ace in the hole: God. We have a God. If he was willing to spare Sodom and Gomorrah for the sake of ten people, we got this, okay? But we have to do our part."

In an interview following the convention, Dr. Carson publicly committed himself to the country and God's will. He said on Fox News, "I am expecting to work for the rest of my life to save our country, whether I do that from inside or outside of the government is up to God."

But it was THEE MAN himself ā€” President Donald Trump ā€” that clinched the attention of the convention and the people. He took to the Detroit stage with thunderous applause that many in the crowd of over 8,000 said gave them chills.

In the two-hour riveting keynote speech, he called out the failures of the Biden administration:

"If you took the 10 worst Presidents in the history of the United States and added them up, they would not have done near the destruction to our country as Joe Biden and the Biden Administration have done.

"With the right leadership every disaster Joe Biden has created can be fixed and can be fixed quickly," he encouraged the crowd. "Every problem can be solved and every wrong can be rectified, and we will do it all so fast you will be so proud of your country again."

"We want a landslide that is too big to rig."Ā ā€” President Trump

"We have to win," he pressed. "We want a landslide that is too big to rig. Remember that: too big to rig. There's a point at which they can't cheat. We want a landslide that is too big to rig."Ā

"If you cheat in an election, we will find you, we will track you down and we will prosecute you to the full extent of the law.ā€ ā€“Lara Trump in Detroit

As if the patriotic fire ā€“ and fury ā€“ of the Convention at Huntington Place were not enough, Trump dared to go where no other presidential candidate ā€“ Dem, GOP, Independent or Green ā€“ has gone, setting sure foot into the infamous Detroit 'hood.

THE BLACK VOTE

CNN released a poll this morning showing Trump has 21% of the black vote in this election cycle. Commentators were visibly dismayed by the numbers ā€” and it was a CNN poll.

If those numbers were to hold or increase between now and November, it would spell disaster for Biden and the Communist-Democrats. It's in places like Detroit that the fears are mounting.

In what Black commentators are calling "The Single BIGGEST Moment In Presidential Campaign History," Trump visited the thriving 180 Church, near the Grand River Avenue- Schoolcraft intersection, a perennially beaten and bruised area of the city.

At a roundtable discussion, prior to the People's Convention, Trump met with struggling local leaders, who welcomed him with open arms.

ChurchĀ Pastor Lorenzo Sewell told Trump that he was ā€œhumbledā€ by the presidentā€™s visit.Ā

ā€œPresident ObamaĀ never came to the ā€™hood, so-to-speak, right? President Joe Biden, he went to the big NAACP dinner, but he never came to the ā€™hood. So thank you,ā€ the popular pastor said, eliciting applause from the audience.Ā

ā€œLook, the crime is most rampant right here and in African American communities,ā€ Trump said at the roundtable. ā€œMore people see me and they say, ā€˜Sir, we want protection. We want police to protect us. We donā€™t want to get robbed and mugged and beat up or killed because we want to walk across the street to buy a loaf of bread.ā€™ā€

When asked by the pastor how to keep "the black dollar" in black neighborhoods, Trump stated, ā€œThe biggest thing we can do is stop the crime,ā€ he said.

SewellĀ told ā€œFox & Friends Firstā€Ā before the roundtable that he couldnā€™t remember the last time a president laid out a plan for the Black community until Trump created the Platinum Plan in 2020, which allocated roughly $500 billion for Black businesses and churches.Ā The pastor said he looked forward to Trump continuing that come November.

Trump asked Sewell to "finish off" the roundtable with a prayer which began:

Heavenly Father we thank you for the 45th president of the United States of America.
He was charged with 34 felonies, then he raised 53 million in 24 hours and he has the potential to be the 47th president of the United States of America.
You have protected him from things seen and unseen. You have protected his family. We pray for his wife his children.
Father we ask that late in the Midnight Hour that You would speak to him. We pray that You might visit him with wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You.
We ask that even when he deals with complex problems that you might give him the ability to hear Your still small voice, and Father we ask that You might lift his hands up so that our country would be great again ...

BLEXIT founders Candace Owens and Brandon Tatum also bombarded Detroit last Thursday with their powerful MAGA message.

At the "Blexit Liberation Show" at Huntington Place, they spoke to the sea change they are noticing among the Black community. They are learning to think outside the box, for themselves, and not be afraid to identify ā€“ and vote ā€“ as a "Black conservative."

They both lamented that "America has become comfortable in atheism."

"Since the dawn of humanity human beings understood that there is something more," Owens said, "until World War II." After World War II, we threw God out and "started believing in government as a solution to all of our problems."

She urged her listeners "to learn history," not as it's taught in the public school system ...

if you don't know that spiritual forces are at play right now, then you are a perfect victim. The greatest trick the devil ever played was convincing people that he did not exist.

WHY BOTHER?

Some pundits are arguing that Detroit is so deeply entrenched blue territory, and that the Wayne County voting system is so skewed to keep it that way, that Trump's takeover of Detroit this past weekend is futile.

But, senior writer at Breitbart News John Nolte disagrees, summing up numerous political and moral advantages of Trump's trek to Motown ā€“ "all smart," he says.

Nolte reminds voters that Trump won Michigan in 2016 by 0.3 percent when the average polling showed "Harridan [sic] Clinton" up 3.6 percent.

Ā

"That means Trump can win again, and current polling shows the tightest of tight races," he says.

Ā

The senior editor says that Trump is the first Republican in his lifetime with "the moral courage" to tell the truth about how the Democrats have "failed black America for decades and decades."

"[S]quishes named Bush, McCain, and Romney hardly tried to make this case. They basically wrote Black Americans off as impossible to win over," he writes.

"Imagine how different the political landscape might look today if the Bushes, McCain, and Romney showed similar concern, courage, and strategic smarts toĀ earnĀ the black vote," reflects Nolte.

He notes the positive effect of Trump's efforts in Detroit will have on "voters outside black America." Swing voters, he argues, "like seeing candidates pay serious attention to constituencies that donā€™t vote for them. Doing so sends a message that this is a guy who intends to be everyoneā€™s president."

It also "forces Biden to eat up precious campaign time courting a black vote he would prefer to take for granted."

No doubt the G-7 globalist elites were pondering what Trumpā€™s possible return in November means to the political deals and personal pacts they cut at the summit ā€“perhaps the noise on the other side of the world in Detroit reminded them.

For one, their much-touted 10-year security pact between the US and Ukraine might shrink to a mere seven-month alliance depending on who sits in the White House in just four months.

Ms. Toth reports correctly. The Black and Hispanic communities have always agreed with conservative Republican ideals more so than not, but they have been locked into the Democrat machine for a long time. Republican candidates have not come to these communities for too long and Trump showing up is making a difference. The liberal way cannot be sustained and eventually falters, as we have seen in different socialist countries, and her in the US it is now falling apart. People who break the chains and pay attention are now seeing this. The Left cannot win when this many of their traditional captured base leaves them.
