After her botched decision and epic failure as Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton lost her mind in Congressional hearings seeking to explore how she left four US embassy personnel to be murdered on her watch in Libya.
In characteristic style, Clinton yelled back at the congressional committee members peppering her with questions, "What difference, at this point, does it make?" Typical Clintonian response — kill and move on.
It's been a full week and there have still been no public hearings, no press briefings, no independent investigation; not a blessed official press release even. It's like Hillary Clinton has been raised from the political dead and appointed head of the FBI — or is it Homeland Security? We can't even be sure who's in charge here.
The Democrats and their appointees' "it's just a flesh wound" approach to the extremely close assassination attempt says everything you need to know about their callous disregard for patriotic Americans; not to mention specifically the family of Corey Comperatore, the Trump supporter-firefighter who took one of those bullets defending his family.
There are dozens of questions swirling around this entire event, and the longer the delay in answering them — in public, under oath — the more it looks like the conspiracy plot thickens; as in, they are all in smoke-filled rooms, trying to get their stories straight, and figuring out who to sacrifice if any intrepid Republican lawmakers start heading down the right path during questioning.
FBI investigators declared it was a "lone gunman" before they had access to his social media and phone accounts. How would they know?
Then came the false flag that it was an Iranian plot. How in the hell would they know that without access to his accounts? But in typical smokescreen form — meant to deliberately put out as many red herrings as possible for the sake of later confusion — the claims just disappeared into the ether. (Iran flatly denied the charge, for the record.)
At this point, it seems like the FBI should contact Hillary, get her to secretly pay Christopher Steele to come up with another dossier, and accuse Russia — to fan the flames of the "it was all staged by Trump for sympathy" crowd on social media.
Rachel Maddow can interview Adam Schiff 102,738 times, and he can inform the American public that he has seen indisputable evidence, "with my own eyes," that this was a coordinated attack between Trump and Putin as part of a kickback scheme to enrich Barron Trump's college fund — 'cuz that's what sitting presidents do; at least some of them.
How did Crooks get so close? Where did the ladder come from to scale to the roof? How did he get on the roof undetected? How was he allowed to remain up there for minutes and minutes? How was he not noticed carrying a rifle bag up there? How did authorities lose track of him for so long after he was spotted with a rangefinder? Why did authorities look bewildered and confused when civilians were screaming at them about Crooks being on the roof?
How bad was the staffing? Who was the agent in charge on the ground? Who coordinated the overall security plan? How did it happen that the closest rooftop from Trump was left unsecured? How did Crooks get off multiple rounds before being killed? Why would his parents call the police to report their ADULT son missing after just a few hours? Why hasn't the recording of that call been released? Why have the names of all the agents, as well as local police and sheriff deputies, not been released? Why have each of them not been dragged before Congress in J6 style to give a detailed account of their stories?
There seems to be no authentic investigation being conducted — except by Trump's enemies in the Deep State, so good luck with that. The Marxists (Mayorkas, Cheatle, the White House) have circled the wagons again and, for the moment, look as though they might get away with almost assassinating a President, covering it all up — or at the very least, covering a multitude of inexplicable security failures.
The very fact that the question is still out there — a full week later — about this potentially being an inside job — speaks volumes.
If you were responsible and this was nothing more than horrible planning, multiple breaches in protocol, a slew of DEI hires who can't even holster their guns — if that's all it was, as bad as that is, wouldn't you want to come clean and put a stop to the much more serious — deadly serious — question of it being an inside job? And if not, why not?
Congressional leaders will soon be asking hard questions in public — and they cannot allow Mayorkas, Cheatle, agents, planners, security personnel and others to refuse to answer; and claim some kind of privilege for an "ongoing investigation."
Lawmakers should promptly pound the desk and thunder back at them: "Answer the damn question — what difference, at this point, does it make?"
