Do or Die: Trump Warns [House GOP Caucus] the GOP Must Win in the Midterm Elections or He Will Be Impeached

Come the midterm elections it could mean sudden death, politically speaking.

President Donald Trump forewarned that his foes from the Democratic party will find a way to impeach him, if voters do not come out in droves to help the Republicans win the midterm elections. Veritable masters of Machiavellian, cutthroat politics, the Left is poised to take control of the House and will not hesitate to vanquish him one way or another, he said.

“You got to win the midterms,” Trump told the House GOP caucus at the Trump-Kennedy Center in Washington at an event that was part of a retreat for the Republican lawmakers, according to a story published by The Epoch Times. “They’ll find a reason to impeach me. I’ll get impeached.”

Republicans will not “impeach them because you know why? Because they’re meaner than we are,” the president said, referring to Democrats. “We should have impeached Joe Biden for a hundred different things. “They are mean and smart.”

In short, Trump said come the elections, everything will be on the line.

US, Vatican Diplomatic Counterparts Discuss Situation in Venezuela

The U.S. State Department announced that Secretary of State Marco Rubio has spoken with Vatican Secretary of State Cardinal Pietro Parolin about the situation in Venezuela.

During the Jan. 6 call, the State Department indicated that “the two leaders discussed pressing challenges, including efforts to improve the humanitarian situation, particularly in Venezuela, as well as the promotion of peace and religious freedom globally.”

Both leaders “reaffirmed their commitment to deepening cooperation between the United States and the Holy See in addressing shared priorities around the world,” the State Department added.

Cuba Enters Terminal Phase While Sending Its Citizens to Die to Support Maduro’s Regime

Cuba is entering a critical phase of political and moral decline as its regime continues sending citizens to die far from home to support other ideologically aligned governments.

This is neither a biased interpretation nor rhetorical exaggeration. It is a fact acknowledged by the Cuban state itself, which has admitted the deaths of 32 compatriots in Venezuela “in the line of duty”—a bureaucratic phrase that hides a much harsher reality: men sent to uphold Nicolás Maduro’s regime while the island empties, grows poorer, and fades away.

Sometimes, the international stage offers clearer diagnoses than long diplomatic reports. When the US president stated that Cuba “is falling apart” and that it doesn’t need any push because it is “going down for the count,” he was describing a process visible for years.

White House says Trump is still weighing using American military to obtain Greenland from Denmark

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said Tuesday that President Donald Trump is still considering a range of options to secure Greenland from Denmark, including using the United States military to do so.

The comment comes after Trump told reporters on Sunday that the U.S. needs Greenland from a “national security” standpoint because of its strategic location, though he did not indicate how he planned to get the Danish territory.

Greenland has come back into focus for the administration after the U.S. arrested former Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro in an operation over the weekend. He has been indicted in New York on drug trafficking and weapons charges.

Pro-Life Americans to Trump: We Will Not Compromise on Hyde

In response to President Trump’s comments today about the Hyde Amendment, SBA Pro-Life America President Marjorie Dannenfelser issued the following statement:

“For decades, opposition to taxpayer funding of abortion and support for the Hyde Amendment has been an unshakeable bedrock principle and a minimum standard in the Republican Party. To suggest Republicans should be ‘flexible’ is an abandonment of this decades-long commitment. If Republicans abandon Hyde, they are sure to lose this November.

“The voters sent a GOP trifecta to Washington and they expect it to govern like one. Giving in to Democrat demands that our tax dollars are used to fund plans that cover abortion on demand until birth would be a massive betrayal.

“President Trump has consistently supported the Hyde Amendment. He pledged repeatedly to make it permanent law, including in health care coverage, and one of his first actions upon taking office last year was prioritizing the reversal of President Biden’s Hyde violations.

Rand Paul: Biden FBI tracked Catholic teacher with no Jan 6 ties in ‘weaponized’ probe

The FBI under the Biden administration spent two years investigating a Catholic school teacher — and even put her on a terror watchlist — based on an unverified tip that connected her to the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol in 2021, according to a new congressional report.

Christine Crowder wasn’t at the U.S. Capitol when a mob overran the building to prevent the certification of the 2020 election, according to findings released by the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee. She was, however, in D.C. for a rally for President Donald Trump earlier that day, and the FBI spent 23 months tracking her for it, the report said.

The committee’s chairman, Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., called the move an overreach of federal power based on insufficient evidence.

Demand for Catholic exorcisms reportedly on the rise

The call for the Catholic ritual of exorcism is reportedly on the rise. According to The Baltimore Sun, requests for exorcisms are increasing, and priests performing the ritual are in greater demand than ever, with the number of exorcists in the United States growing from about two dozen 15 years ago to approximately 150 today.

Monsignor Stephen Rossetti, a Washington, D.C.-based priest and licensed psychologist, told the Sun, “We’re getting more and more people needing an exorcism. There are only about 150 exorcists in the country, and they’re being flooded with requests, including from many desperate people pleading for assistance. We can’t keep up with the demand now — and it’s only going to get worse.”

Exorcism is a prayer encounter in which a trained clergyman invokes the Holy Spirit to dispel demonic entities believed to be tormenting individuals. Screenings indicate that more than 99% of those claiming possession are experiencing mental illness, and only a small minority of cases involve genuine signs of demonic presence.
