Antifa Terror Cell Leader Sent To Slammer For Rest Of His Life In Landmark Sentencing
Antifa cell leader Benjamin Song was sentenced to 100 years in prison Tuesday for a 2025 terrorist attack on an immigration facility.
The Department of Justice (DOJ) sentenced Song and seven others involved in the July 4, 2o25, attack on a Texas Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility Tuesday, according to multiple reports. These charges stemmed from the first U.S. terrorism case against accused Antifa members — after President Donald Trump had labeled the far-left group a domestic terrorist organization in September 2025.
In March, a jury convicted the group of eight for its role in the attack and convicted Song of attempted murder after a 12-day trial. The other seven people convicted in the trial besides Song face prison sentences ranging from 30 to 70 years, according to CBS News.
The Independence Day attack took place late at night when Song, a former Marine Corps Reservist, and his accomplices arrived dressed in all black, according to a March press release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Texas. Some members of the group also attended a peaceful protest against the ICE detention center without their gear earlier that day before arriving again with the gear at night.

‘We 100% Got People Killed’: DEA Reportedly Let Fentanyl Flood Border States
The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) intentionally allowed hundreds of thousands or even millions of fentanyl pills to cross the New Mexico border from 2023-2025, according to the Associated Press.
In a response to the Daily Caller, the DEA rejected the characterization that they had knowingly permitted fentanyl to reach communities.
Yet despite having detailed knowledge on fentanyl shipments crossing the border and monitoring them, the DEA did not seize them, according to information DEA Special Agent David Howell and an anonymous former DEA supervisor shared with AP. Instead, they reportedly used the information to build major drug-trafficking cases.
Alex Uballez, the U.S. attorney for New Mexico from 2022 to 2025, admitted to letting some drug shipments cross the border, but defended the practice, telling AP that catching “bigger fish” will ultimately “save more lives.” One such investigation resulted in the largest fentanyl bust in DEA history, which saw agents seize around 3 million fentanyl pills in May 2025.
Despite the eventual bust, however, Howell and several veteran DEA agents expressed concern that allowing so many drugs over the border while they built their case presented a major health risk.
“We poisoned our community to make cases,” Howell told the AP during a series of interviews. “Through our own willful blindness, we get to say, ‘We don’t really know what happened to the drugs.’ But we 100% got people killed.”

Sen. Hawley Says MLB Admits Error in Warning Giants Players Over Bible Verses
The MLB commissioner said in a letter that the Giants did not adequately inform the players that ‘gay pride’ caps were optional, Hawley said.
Major League Baseball (MLB) will not punish the three San Francisco Giants players who wrote Bible verses on their caps during the team’s gay pride celebrations and blamed the incident on poor communication from the franchise, according to Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Missouri.
Hawley posted a letter on X, which he said he received from MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred after the senator accused the league of discrimination and the Department of Justice (DOJ) opened an investigation into the matter.
The incident stemmed from the Giants’ June 12 “Pride Night,” in which most players wore caps that infused a gay pride rainbow into the team logo. Three players inscribed Bible verses on the caps, with one referencing Genesis 9:12-16, in which God tells Noah the rainbow is “the sign of the covenant that I am making between me and you and every living creature with you for all ages to come” and promises to never flood the entire Earth again.

James Talarico Described Himself As A ‘Christian Who Hates Christianity’
The Democrat running for outgoing Texas Sen. John Cornyn’s seat wants to turn Jesus Christ into Karl Marx and the Trans Agenda Into Gospel.
James Talarico has poured his leftist idea of Christianity down the throats of Bible Belt Texas for some time, even more so now in his quest for higher (political) power: The U.S. Senate. His road to Damascus moment of sorts seems to be that a “boring, straight, cis, white male” can bring a moral clarity to the nation’s political swamp.
That is of course if you believe moral clarity is believing that “God is nonbinary,” that the Annunciation gave the go-ahead to murder the unborn, and that mutilating confused children’s bodies to change their sex is a manifestation of God’s love.
Talarico, who is facing Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton in November’s pivotal Senate election, likes to use Christianity in his politics, but the alleged Biblical scholar admitted that he’s no fan of Christianity.
“I always think of myself as a Christian who hates Christianity, right?” the Austin Democrat said in exclusively unearthed audio.

Mexico confronts its taboo history: Exhibit spotlights Cristero War against religious persecution
A new exibition in Puebla, Mexico, dramatizes the lives of those engaging in and affected by the armed popular uprising against religious persecution in Mexico that broke out in 1926.
Throughout 2026, a museum in Puebla, Mexico, is hosting the exhibition “When Faith Challenged Power,” which depicts the history of the Cristero War, a popular uprising against religious persecution in Mexico that frequently goes unmentioned in education and public discourse.
Marking the centenary of the outbreak of the conflict, also known as the La Cristiada, the exhibition on display at the museum at the Universidad Popular Autónoma del Estado de Puebla (UPAEP by its Spanish acronym) aims to highlight “everything involved in the defense of religious freedom” in early 20th-century Mexico, and how Mexicans “decided to defend something that was important to them.” …
Although tensions between the Church and the Mexican state were rooted in the anticlerical 1917 Constitution, the Cristero War erupted in 1926 when the so-called “Law on Tolerance of Religious Worship” or the “Calles Law,” named after then president Plutarco Elías Calles, went into effect in July of that year.
The regulations promoted and enforced by Calles severely restricted religious freedom, banning public worship outside of churches, prohibiting religious attire, dissolving religious orders, and deporting foreign priests. …
Many of these men and women faced persecution while shouting “¡Viva Cristo Rey!” (“Long live Christ the King!”) — a rallying cry that gave rise to the name by which they would become known: the “Cristeros.”

St. John the Baptist: The Voice Who Dared to Confront Power
In the dry heat of the Judean wilderness, a man with wild hair, camel skin clothes, and a voice like thunder baptized thousands in the Jordan River. But this wasn’t just about water. It was about revolution. About repentance. About preparing the world to meet something — someone — far greater.
That man was John the Baptist, and though often remembered as the one who baptized Jesus, his role as a prophet was political in the deepest sense: he challenged religious hypocrisy, condemned the corruption of power, and ultimately paid with his life.
John was born into a priestly family — his father Zechariah was a temple priest from the tribe of Levi. According to Luke 1, both his parents were righteous before God. But John didn’t follow in his father’s institutional footsteps. He chose the wilderness over the temple, simplicity over status, and truth over safety.
