'We don't answer to the bureaucrats in Washington — we answer to God in Heaven'

Just four-and-a-half months out from the tectonic US presidential election, Christians are urging other Christians to vote as if their very life and faith depend on it — because they do.

They see the anti-Christian writing on the wall should Biden take office a second term — the warning signs of persecution are clear for whoever has eyes to see and ears to hear.

President Trump himself, speaking at the Faith and Freedom Conference in Washington DC this past weekend, rallied Evangelical patriots to focus on that consequential date — and to vote.

"November 5th is going to go down as the most important day in the history of our country," he predicted.

"As you know, the radical Left has tried to shame Christians, silence you, demoralize you, and they want to keep you out of politics. They don't want you to vote, that's why you have to vote," Trump enjoined.

Trump said the reason leftists attack religious believers is because they know, "[W]e do not answer to the bureaucrats in Washington — we answer to God in Heaven."

Dr. Ben Carson, a vocal Christian, neurosurgeon, and possible Trump vice-presidential pick, also spoke at the Faith and Freedom Conference.

"There's a lot of us [Christians] out there, but we have to be more visible," Carson exhorted his brothers and sisters in faith. "You see a lot of people when the conversation starts, instead of talking about what they believe, they stand at the corner and stare at the floor because they don't want someone to call them a nasty name or try to cancel them."

Carson explained how even God Himself is being cancelled in America as Communists ratchet up their efforts to take over the country.

The native Detroiter cited Edward L. Schempp, whose lawsuit against the required reading of Bible verses in public schools led to the Supreme Court decision in 1963 – banning the civic practice.

Carson said this represented an early step in the calculated process of Communists to remove God from US public life, ultimately ensuring their takeover.

The same year Schempp won his lawsuit, Carson pointed out, a Florida lawmaker read into the Congressional record a warning about the Communists' long-term strategy to destroy the United States. The lawmaker noted a number of the 45 goals of Communism, culled from the book, The Naked Communist (1958), written by W. Cleon Skousen.

Among the Communist goals to take over the US from within, "without firing a single shot" as Soviet Premier Nikita Khrushchev said in 1956, are —

Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson (R-NC), running for Governor of North Carolina, revved up the Faith and Freedom audience with what has been described as his "on-fire-for-the-Lord-and-on-fire-for-the-country" oratorial style.

He charged the attendees, as Christians, to be forthright and stand up for Trump. Reminding them of what the president is up against, he rattled off a litany of the president's battles:

Robinson said he's so worked up about supporting Trump, he's "spittin' fire." Instead of being lukewarm or afraid to support Trump, he proclaimed, "you should run and go tell the good news of why you're a Republican."

VOTING FOR YOUR FAITH

Catholic Patriot Bill Carraway, author of the newly released, Voting for Your Faith. Are You Doing It?, is also rallying Christians to vote as if their life depends on it.

The author told Souls and Liberty that too many Christians "undermine the faith and vote against their own religious interests." He said they do not realize — under the sway of the mainstream media — that they are actually "voting to restrict freedom of religion," if they vote for the Communist-Democrats.

He underscored that establishing freedom of religion was one of the reasons the Founding Fathers formed the US government — and risked their lives to do it.

Carraway, who spent much of his early life in the DC area, also emphasized that even with a Trump victory, Christians will have to keeping pushing against those who hate this country for many more terms. "You can't change in one term what is deeply embedded in DC," he said. "It will require ongoing battle for righteousness."

In his book, Carraway — echoing Carson's warning of "the enemies within" — writes:

"Our current President is a radical leftist who, with the aid of the liberal socialist media, concealed his true agenda during his campaign," the author added.

'FROM THE PEWS TO THE POLLS'

Scott Presler, who is being called THE man who is single-handedly saving the 2024 election from the Democrats, sees people of faith in this election as "a very important coalition for Donald Trump."

Speaking recently at "The People's Convention" in Detroit, the GOP dynamo, who travels the country registering voters, stressed the need for every Christian in America to register.

"People really need to understand if every Christian in America actually voted, we would never lose another presidential election," he said.

But, he lamented that "30 percent of evangelicals — it's not that they don't even vote — 30 percent are not registered to vote!"

The conservative activist also mentioned that "the Muslim community is ripe to come over to the Republican Party."

He said he is seeing "big moves" from the Muslim community to the GOP. "They don't like Biden's anti-peace in the Middle East policies," and they don't like "the Democrats waging a war against children by pushing pornographic materials in schools."

CLOSURE

The words of an early Soviet leader could not make the intentions of the Communist Democrats toward Christians more clear. Cited in Skousen's book referenced above, the first Soviet Commissar of Education declared in the early 1900s:

Somehow the rousing old hymn "Onward, Christian Soldiers" is rising above the fray this election cycle: "Onward, Christian soldiers, marching as to war, With the cross of Jesus going on before …."

Many are hoping the march of Christian voters to the ballot box this November 5 will serve as a counterpunch to Communism's long and devastating march through American institutions.
