Anti-ICE mob storms Minnesota church over pastor’s alleged ties to immigration enforcement

A mob of anti-ICE agitators stormed a church Sunday in St. Paul, Minnesota, interrupting a worship service after protesters claimed a pastor inside was affiliated with Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Video shows agitators chanting “Justice for Renee Good” inside the sanctuary at Cities Church as the service began, raising concerns among law enforcement and religious leaders about protesters targeting houses of worship amid escalating anti-ICE demonstrations across the Twin Cities.

In one video circulating online, agitators can be heard chanting, “Justice for Renee Good,” and “Who needs justice, we need justice,” as they stood inside the church during the service.

Child Abusers Top ICE’s Latest List Of ‘Worst Of The Worst’ Illegal Aliens

As the Minneapolis mob and their fellow privileged leftists protest and hold signs declaring, “Renee Good, ICE Bad,” Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents continue to do the hard, thankless work of removing “the worst of the worst” criminal illegal immigrants from crime-battered communities across the country.

On Thursday, the roundup included perps convicted of sexual abuse of children, sexual exploitation of a minor, and aggravated assault, according to the latest Department of Homeland Security report exclusively provided to The Federalist.

“Yesterday, our law enforcement arrested monsters who sexually abused and raped children. These are the type of sickos we are getting OUT of our neighborhoods,” said  DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin in a statement to The Federalist.

Sex offenders brought into custody include the following:

Leonel Antonio Carranza Nunez, a Mexican foreign national found guilty of “continuous sexual abuse” of a child in Santa Ana, California. …

Bessent: Tariffs, Trump’s ‘Signature Economic Policy,’ Won’t Be Overruled

The Supreme Court is weighing a landmark decision on President Donald Trump’s authority to impose tariffs to rebalance global trade and serve U.S. national security interests, and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said he believes the ruling will favor presidential authority, citing Obamacare as precedent.

“I believe that it is very unlikely that the Supreme Court will overrule a president’s signature economic policy,” Bessent told NBC News’ “Meet the Press” on Sunday. “They did not overrule Obamacare.

“I believe that the Supreme Court does not want to create chaos.”

“Shock” in Fentanyl Supply Leads to Dramatic Drop in Deaths

At last, after years of rising annual opioid overdose deaths, the United States began seeing a decline in such deaths starting in late 2023. Provisional U.S. data for the year ending March 2025 indicated roughly 25% fewer deaths compared with the prior year. One report noting a drop from 83,100 deaths per year to 54,700 deaths.

For more than two decades, the U. S. had experienced a relentless rise in opioid overdose deaths, so the sudden reversal in the United States was unexpected. What changed? …

[A new study] pointed to a major disruption in the global fentanyl supply. In economic terms, the fentanyl market faced a supply shock—a sudden change in how much of something is available and/or a significant change in its quality—starting mid-to-late 2023. The shock alters the market price, and as a result. drugs become less potent and/or harder to find.

Catholic women discuss beauty, difficulty, redemptive nature of Church’s teachings on sexuality

This past week, nearly a quarter of U.S. states sued the federal government for defining biological sex as binary, the U.S. Supreme Court heard arguments for and against legally allowing males to compete against females in sports, and a Vatican official called surrogacy a “new form of colonialism” that commodifies women and their children.

These are just the latest legal and cultural effects of a “mass cultural confusion” surrounding the meaning and purpose of the human body, and particularly women’s bodies, according to Leah Jacobson, program coordinator of the Catholic Women’s and Gender Studies Program at the University of St. Thomas in Houston.

On Jan. 9–10, the program sponsored a symposium titled “The Beauty of Truth: Navigating Society Today as a Catholic Woman,” which brought together a group of Catholic women who have used their gifts of intellect and faith to serve as what Jacobson calls an “antidote” to the “chaos and confusion” of the cultural moment. …

In one of the first talks, writer Mary Eberstadt argued that the question “Who am I?” became harder to answer due to the widespread use of the birth control pill, which has led to huge increases in abortion, divorce, fatherlessness, single parenthood, and childlessness. …
